A rug can really be the foundation of a room – in fact, our antelope rug is the first item I purchased when we moved into our new home. It’s the perfect neutral for our living room and allows me to use color everywhere – but it also has a fun/noticeable pattern on its own and creates interest without overpowering the space.

Here are 9 rugs I’m loving & why!

Turkish oushak : a classic Turkish oushak rug will never go out of style – I’m planning to design one for our bedroom. I love how they can be neural and/or playful and I love the cooler tones this one has.
Antelope/Woodland rug: I just installed this in Lincoln’s room – it’s soft, neutral and has just a hint of pattern. It’s similar to our living room rug, but doesn’t have the same level of variation in the beige tones.

Blue & white stripe rug by Mark D. Sikes: I have this rug in our family room/playroom and I love the stripes and how fresh it feels. It lends itself to being a little more playful and a great fit for a more casual/family space.

scalloped jute rug: I love these for children’s rooms because the scalloped edge is playful. It could also add a feminine but neutral dose of texture to an office, closet, etc.
floral print jute rug : I love this block print inspired rug by Erin Gates. Her designs are always among my favorite – this would be so pretty in a variety of spaces & would look cute as a runner, too!
wavy border jute rug : Another fantastic neutral with a beautiful wavy border that gives it a little something extra. I love this design and think it can be used in a variety of spaces.
diamond geometric rug: this indoor/outdoor rug has a classic diamond pattern and the performance fabric means you won’t have to worry about spills or stains. A true classic!
Green floral rug: I love this rug so much, I designed an entire dining room around it! Beautiful, feminine and the deep green, mint and blush combo just does it for me!

Milagro Collective Vaughn rug: I love Milagro rugs and the best parts that you can create a totally custom design. I love the deep emerald green in this one, but they truly have options for any space in your home!
Have a great week!
