Harper wanted a puppy themed birthday party for her ninth birthday & I was thrilled to oblige. We booked the party room at Sweet Paris in Highland Village (no fee, but you have to have a min. $150 food and beverage spend which is very easy to achieve!) The room fits 14 people, so it’s better for more intimate parties/celebrations.
We hosted a birthday brunch for her this year, so everyone ordered crepes, drinks, etc. – it’s one of our favorite places to eat!
We incorporated the puppy theme with some simple decor but I also wanted an activity for the kids to do when they arrived/while we ordered and waited for our food.
I ordered some mini stuffed puppies on amazon (that look like Teddy!) and I placed them in cupcake boxes with a little window. Then I added ribbons on top, tied in a bow, because you know I can’t resist an extra detail.
The children then picked puppies to “adopt” and used a bead kit to create little name collars for them. All of the kids loved the activity, it kept them busy and they took home two puppies each as the party favor – it worked out perfectly!
We also purchased some puppy ear headbands that everyone wore to further incorporate the puppy theme + puppy party balloons.
