Friday Five - Veronika's Blushing

ONE
I recently purchased the newly reformulated Living Proof Perfect Hair Day shampoo. I used it years ago and since I like to try new formulas, I kind of forgot about it. Now that I’m using it again, I remember what I love about it – it really cleanses the hair without stripping and makes it stay feeling cleaner, longer. I just finished Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez and wow – what a great listen! I highly recommend all of her books and love how she ties characters in from previous books she’s written. This book explores themes of both emotional and physical abuse and emotional abuse within family dynamics while having the underlying theme of an accomplished and wealthy “city girl” meeting a younger, handsome (obviously) country guy. There’s a baby goat, too. Trust me on this one – worth the read or listen!

White eyelet is one of my favorite looks for spring and summer and I’ve found so many good pieces lately I’m excited to share – as a bonus, they’re super affordable!

The first is this eyelet dress (under $40) with tie shoulders. It’s a size small, fits like a dream and looks a lot more expensive than it is. Highly recommend this one – feels like something from Nordstrom or a boutique.

I’ve been looking for a cute skirt to wear over my swimsuits for our upcoming vacation to Seaside, but didn’t want to spend $300+ on a LoveShackFancy one. This eyelet skirt is not only adorable – but it has an elastic waist and it’s on the longer side – which I appreciate with my height! I’m wearing a size small.

The round rattan bag is a summer vacation favorite – it’s the perfect size and goes with every outfit!

FOUR
The Lululemon belt bag has been one of my bestsellers this year – and it sells out quickly in certain colors like this lilac one! I can’t wait to use this all summer for trips to the park, to carry at the tennis club, etc.

Speaking of tennis, ya’ll love these skirts, so I’ll like the two I have here:

FIVE
I just got these floral pillow covers – I like to test fabrics in our home before I decide to invest (or not!) in custom pillows with designer fabric. Y’all sold it out, but I’ll keep my eyes out for a restock.
