Decorating for the Christmas holiday is undoubtedly my favorite time of the year – in fact, I start in very early November to enjoy the festivities for as long as possible.

I shopped at marshalls.com recently for some new holiday decor for our home – I love checking out their new arrivals which are added to the site daily, so there’s always fresh and new inventory!

GREENERY

Hanging wreaths on our windows, doors and mirrors is the first thing I do when decorating for the holidays – the pops of greenery immediately signal a change in season and excitement for the festivities to come.

I ordered this berry and pinecone wreath and hung it on our mirror (the trick is to use a hook with a suction cup!) and I absolutely love the way it brings holiday hues of evergreen and red into our home.

I also got this pinecone and berry arrangement (it comes in a beautiful and simple white planter) that matches the wreath. The best thing about this arrangement is its versatility – it truly be used anywhere in your home. From shelving in your kitchen to an arrangement on your dining table to coffee table decor – it’s the perfect size to use in any room of your home. The beaches are high quality and pliable so you can bend them to make the arrangement look even more lush and full.

PILLOWS & BLANKETS

I love to add a little whimsy by adding holiday-themed pillows to the kids rooms and our upstairs family room. I purchased this “ho ho ho” pillow with pom poms and this “merry everything” multicolored pink pillow for Harper’s room and they’re both so cute! Harper’s is a velvet fabric and the other is a beautiful thick linen-like material.

I think adding pillows like this to children’s spaces are the perfect way to update bedding and couches with a holiday touch!

I also added this super soft and cozy deer print blanket to our family room sofa – I love that it’s a neutral that can be used year-round, but that the print evokes a holiday look and feel because the spots remind me, of course, of Santa’s reindeers! Every time we get a blanket like this, the kids both want to stake a claim over it – come to think of it, I should have ordered two, haha!

GLASSWARE

These old fashioned style glasses featuring a bronze stag caught my eye immediately. They are incredible quality for the price and they look so special displayed on our floating shelves in the kitchen.

I also found this incredible marble tray with gold bamboo handles on marshalls.com and thought the glasses would look so beautiful displayed on it!
