Summer is coming to a close and L is starting kindergarten this year – I can’t quite believe it! The new school year starts in August, so it’ll still be blazingly hot in Houston, so our BTS looks always involve a lot of lightweight tees, dresses and shorts.
Walmart literally has everything you need for back-to-school – from clothing, shoes and accessories (with fashion brands for kids like Justice, Reebok and Champion) to backpacks and school supplies. You also can’t beat Walmart’s prices – with school supplies starting at $0.25, kids t-shirts starting at $5 & tech starting at $15.
I can order all of the kid’s BTS items from the comfort of home home with fast free shipping (Min. $35) or pick them up curbside (Min $35) without leaving my car, which is a huge win!
I picked up some new outfits for the kids from Walmart and here’s what I ordered:
- For H: button-front eyelet flounce top | pink eyelet tank top | pink & navy woven shorts | eyelet sleeve tee | star sneakers
- For L: t-shirt 3-pack | boys lavender shorts | navy flat front shorts | purple tee | gray and green raglan tee
Harper put on these star sneakers and I swear I’ve never seen her so excited about a pair of shoes! She says they’re “so comfy and cute!” (please note she’s wearing them inside because they’re new, haha!) I also can’t get over how adorable this button-front eyelet flounce top by Justice is and would totally buy it in my size.
Lincoln’s lavender shorts are the best – I’ve purchased them two years in a row because they’re one of my favorite pairs (we also love these navy flat front shorts). I also got him this t-shirt 3-pack because he’s getting so tall and plain tees always make getting dresses easy. I purchased this gray and green raglan tee last year and he still wears it all the time (I usually order a size up to get more time out of his tees!)
