Serena & Lily is a longtime favorite of mine for furniture and home decor. Their fresh coastal-inspired pieces work with so many home styles – perhaps that’s what I most appreciate about their offerings. Their pieces look beautiful mixed into a modern farmhouse, traditional home or one that skews more modern.
I’m going to share the S&L pieces we have in our home and some other favorites, too, all 20% with code NEWLEAF through 3/16/2021.
The Riviera Bistro Chairs
I ordered these for our new home as soon as we moved in. They’re perfect for young families because they’re wipeable and I love the way they contrast with our salvaged wood dining table. We have four right now and will likely order two more since we’re ordering a 60-inch dining table (the one in these images is a 48-inch).

I even used our Riviera chairs outdoors for Thanksgiving dinner (note: they are not outdoor chairs, but it’s fine to use them outdoors for a few hours and since we have turf, I knew they wouldn’t get dirty). Serena & Lily does make an outdoor version of their Riviera chairs, which you can find here.

The South Seas Console
Adapted from their South Seas Bar Cart, this console is a special piece. It’s really long – so it’s ideal for spaces that need a larger piece to anchor them and the natural rattan adds beautiful warmth and texture. We use it under our TV in our family room upstairs, but I’ve seen it used in bedrooms, behind sofas in living rooms and more. I intend to style it more eventually, but it looks so lovely left bare too.

The Blake Console
This raffia console is such a pretty piece – if I’m being honest, it serves no purpose other than being decorative, but I’m OK with that, because I love a “pretty moment” in a home. Not everything has to be functional – especially on such a small wall – a moment feels like a better fit.
I think this console would be lovely in a small entryway (with a pretty bowl for keys/wallets) and a mirror for before-you-exit-the-house checks. But mostly, it’s best that it remains as a “low touch” piece, meaning the material is not meant to withstand heavy wear and tear.

The Gingham Rug
This blue and white gingham performance indoor/outdoor rug was the perfect one for Lincoln’s room. It adds pattern and softness without being too much in a smaller space.

The Bathroom Stool & Lanai Mirror
I love this combo so much – the mirror adds such fun dimension to the bathroom and the stool is both functional and pretty! We’ve had it for years and it has held up SO well.

Serena & Lily Perennials Fabric
We had our spindle chairs reupholstered in this performance fabric and it totally changed the look! The color is called “coastal blue” and the fabric is UV and stain resistant.

What are your favorite S&L pieces? I have my eye on the Balboa shelf!

Can you please identify exactly which S & L Perennial Coastal Blue Fabric you used on your two White Spindle chairs please? (ie. Perennial Basketweave, Perennial Linen, etc.) ? Your fabric choice is beautiful! Thanks very much!
Hi! I believe it’s the basketweave! Order samples first – you just never know until you see the sample in your home.
