ONE
This week was great- it’s was second week back at work and things have been going really well! I start my new reduced schedule next week, which I’m really looking forward to. Your support, comments and DMs have made me more thankful than ever for this wonderful community. I have so much peace about my decision and it really feels like a weight has been lifted.
Even though I’ll still be working on the day I have off, it will (hopefully) allow me to accomplish everything I need to so I can enjoy our weekends more. I do still clean a lot on weekends (we have a cleaning lady every two weeks, but I clean in between her visits), but I’m hoping I can do it on Friday afternoons so I don’t have to cut into weekends. I will admit that cleaning and organizing is actually something I enjoy and find to be a de-stresser, but it’s easier to do on a weekday. I also love that having that day off means I can choose to take that day for myself if I need to and don’t have any pressing campaign work or deadlines.
Our family has still been staying home on weekends but now that it’s cooler outside, I hope we can spend more time outdoors. Teddy starts his puppy training this weekend, so we’re looking forward to that too!
TWO
I found the cutest dollhouse wallpaper recently and had to share it! I got this climbing vine print, this chinoiserie print and this lemon tree print. I can’t wait to wallpaper some of the rooms in Harper’s dollhouse – she is so excited about this step! The rest of the rooms will be painted, either white or light blue.
THREE
Lauren Haskell Designs released her holiday collection and oh my gosh – so much goodness there! From trees to little painted ceramic houses to nutcrackers to ornaments – there’s something for everyone, in beautiful pastel colors. Here are some of my favorites:
FOUR
Neely & Chloe sent me the most beautiful zip wallet – I love the pale blue pebbled leather and custom painted monogram initials – so pretty! This is the smaller version of their travel wallet and goes perfectly with my ice blue Senreve bag. I usually carry just a card case when I’m using my LV pochette Metis, but for larger bags I prefer a full-sized wallet. I love the brand hardware on this one too!
FIVE
- How cute are these velvet embroidered dog collars?
- Love these ruffled pie dishes
- Airtight gold canisters to hold our espresso grounds
- A book my therapist recommended for learning to let go
- I shared this gray tunic sweater on my stories last weekend and y’all LOVED IT!
- I got this workout set recently (leggings and bra) and it’s so comfy and love the texture!
- Waiting on this v-neck waffle top to arrive
- I ordered this set of brass sconces to flank our game room TV
- I got these super soft sleep shorts
Have a great weekend!
I’m checking out your book recommendation. I’m currently reading Letting Go by David R. Hawkins, MD, Ph.D and it is AMAZING and super helpful!
