Amazon Favorites - May 2020 - Veronika's Blushing

I thought I’d switch up this weeks’ Friday Five post with an amazon favorites/recent purchases! Hope you enjoy – and I threw a few Target items into the mix, just for fun!

daisy sunglasses | How fun are these? I love a novelty pair of sunglasses every once in awhile, especially since we are spending so much time in our backyard now and our above ground pool!

pearl studs | I love pearl studs and these larger ones are so pretty. I used to have an inexpensive pair but can’t find them anywhere, I so ordered these ones.

just between us book | I have heard amazing things bout this mother/daughter book and got it for Harper’s birthday.

25 ft tape measure | I broke the tape measure we’ve had for years by accident so I ordered this 25ft one. Our old one only went to 12 ft and we have a lot of long walls I need to measure so this will be great for all projects!

pink fluffy slippers | My new house slippers. They have a nice thick/substantial sole and are so soft and fluffy.

kitchen under the sink organizer shelf | I recently installed this under our kitchen sink- it can go around the pluming and allows you to store way more items since it stacks – such a space saver and maximizer!

blue scalloped plates | How pretty are these plates? They’re under $50 for a set of four and the perfect shade of powdery blue. The scallops are the perfect detail.

HP wireless printer | We haven’t owned a printer in a decade. Yes, it’s true. With distance learning and needing the ability to print shipping labels, etc, it was time! Kevin researched which printers have inexpensive ink and this was the one that came up again and again! It’s wireless and we keep it in our Ballard sideboard.

Brain flakes | Oh my gosh the kids love these! They get so creative with building anything from an octopus to a rainbow ball to towers. The sky’s the limit with these! I love how they encourage motor skills, STEM, etc. Lincoln made the rainbow ball below for Harper as an “early birthday present.”

Think Baby sunscreen and sun stick | This is one of the clean sunscreens recommenced by the EWG. It is quite thick, so you really have to rub it in, but I don’t mind because I feel like it offers really great protection with it being so opaque. The stick is great for faces – my kids like it better than the lotion on their faces.

ruffle sports bra | This is similar to a much pricier version and I like it! Size up if you have a larger cup size.

Through Rosalie Colored Glasses book | Eloise in Paris | Anne of Green Gables | little women | Just a few chapter books I ordered for Harper’s 7th birthday.

callous remover | In case you missed my admittedly disgusting IG stories about this little tool – it sloughs off all of your callouses and catches the dead skin cells so you can dump them out when you’re finished and clean the device. It’s gross, revolting and deeply satisfying. You’re welcome.

scalloped leggings | I love how these fit and the scallop details at the waist and ankles are SO fun! I wear a small in these -TTS.

essence lash princess mascara | I’ve had this mascara for a couple of weeks now and love it! The first time I used it I was kind of “meh” but the next day and every use after that is was excellent. I find most new mascaras need a few applications before they really shine. It makes lashes long and separated and is an excellent price point.

5 x 7 acrylic frame | I love these little magnetic acrylic frames. So cute to put on a shelf or in a child’s room – and it’s easy to switch out the photo!

Just Grace books | Harper really loves this book series and I’ve gotten a lot o questions about it so I’m including it here!

Bissell steam mop | I purchased this steam mop since we weren’t having our cleaning lady come for the first 8 weeks of quarantine. I use it on tile only. I’ve heard mixed recommendations on hardwood use, so check with your floor manufacturer or installer. We only use Bona on our floors, as recommended by our builder. I love the steam mop for tile!

down pillow inserts | I use these inserts for all of my decorative pillows. Always go two inches up in insert size from the size of your pillow cover for a fluffy fit.
