The Jeans + Black Tops You’ll Love for Fall

Have you ever found something so good, you text your friends about it? That’s how I felt when I put on these $26 jeans from Walmart (yes, $26!!!) I texted a friend, told another mom friend about them while we watched our kids at gymnastics…in other words, these jeans have been mention-worthy!

I ordered the jeans a couple of weeks ago along with two other pairs (more on those later) and they’re so amazing, I honestly can’t tell them apart from my pricier denim.

They’re high-waisted, ankle jeans with the perfect amount of destruction and they have plenty of stretch – so they’re comfortable to move in. I’m confident that these jeans may be one of my best denim purchases of 2019.

I also ordered three black tops for fall: a peplum hem blouse, a flowy top with crochet detail and a lace trim tank. I purchased these three tops because they’re all perfect for the office but can also be paired with jeans.

THE PEPLUM TOP (size small)
There are several things I love about this trendy top – the puff sleeve detail, ruching at the chest and bottom of the sleeves and peplum hem. It has so many fun details and is the perfect trendy top, while still being something I can wear to the office.

THE BOHO BLOUSE (size small)
I call this top the boho blouse because it’s perfectly flowy, has really pretty sleeves and beautiful crochet details. It’s by Scoop, a brand that has returned to Walmart and has a ton of on-trend clothing and accessories. Blouses like this one always stay in my closet for a long time. I really love wearing tops like this one to work with my black skinny pants and heels because it’s the perfect level of polish since the fabric of the shirt is more formal, but the details make it something that can also be dressed down with denim.

THE LACE TRIM TANK (size medium, but should have gotten a small)
At just $12, this lace tank is a closet essential! The trim is really pretty and the top is a nice satin material. Order your true size in this tank and pair with under blazers, cardigans and tucked into skirts. It’s an incredibly versatile piece to have on hand to layer with anything in your closet.

I tried on two other pairs of jeans – these Levis and these by one of my favorite Walmart brands, Time and Tru. I love the dark denim and zip detail on the Levis, but they were too large in my normal size – I’d size down a size in these if you’re between sizes. The Time & Tru jeans were incredibly flattering a little longer -I loved the high rise and the overall style. Of the three, the Sofia Vergara are my absolute favorite, but these two are also very flattering and comfortable.

I also want to give honorable mention to this $10 zip-up fleece. I’m a little too tall for it (I also should have sized up a size) but it’s a great way to try this trend and it’s super cozy and soft!Hope y’all enjoyed this post!
