What a WEEK! I had the craziest work week and I’m READY for the weekend. Hope your Friday is off to a great start and that it’s starting with coffee, haha 🙂
AN AERIAL VIEW
I’m obsessed with Gray Malin’s work, but his large scale prints are such investment pieces, that I haven’t quite been ready to invest just yet. So when I found this 30 X 40 ocean print recently (I got it on LTKDay, so it was 20% off) I was SO excited. I opted for the natural wood frame to add a little warmth and texture to our light and airy space. It’s the perfect piece for over our dresser and to be honest, I haven’t seen an art print this large, FRAMED, at this low of a price. They also have this one and it’s next on my list (it’s a vertical print if you need that option!) This is a STEAL for such a stunning piece of art that works in almost any space!
A BASE AND TOP COAT TO LOVE
One of my followers encouraged me to purchase this CND base coat and this CND topcoat and I have to say I’m impressed with the results. I painted my nails last Saturday and they look better than they usually do nearly a week later with this combo. I have a few chips, but less than when I don’t use the base/top coat combo. Speaking of manicures, this NYT story about nail salons that now have guided meditations as part of the experience seriously makes me wish we had a place like that in Houston!

NSALE IS COMING…TOO QUICKLY
July is shaping up to be an insane month for me…and the Nordstrom Sale is just a couple of weeks away and it totally crept up on me. I will be sharing the same coverage I always do – I’ll be shopping in store on day one of early access, sharing fitting room try-ons and also what I actually purchased. You can see the catalog here (of course there will be a ton more in the sale!)
IT’S ALL IN THE EYES
I ordered this Becca under eye corrector after hearing way too many rave reviews about it. I currently use and love the Tarte shape tape, but I love products that have a peachy/pink tone to them to help brighten the under eye area. I will report back!
What I do have a review about is actually another Becca product that I’ve just hit pan on – their anti-fatigue undereye primer. I believe I purchased it during the last Sephora sale and I’ve been using it every single day. It’s basically meant to help smooth and awaken your eye area and prep it so makeup applies evenly and stays in place. So far, so good. I enjoy it enough to continue to use it daily, so when it comes part of my everyday routine, I know it’s good. I would repurchase. I don’t use eye cream during the day, so this is the perfect product for me.
LATELY ON IG
I shared my headband collection (shop it here) and I also told y’all about a $3 velvet pearl headband – it took a couple of weeks to arrive, but its decent quality and a good way to try the trend if you’re not ready to drop over $100 0n the real thing. PS- I also just ordered this acrylic headband organizer.
The knotted ones I got recently are also SO cute! I’m wearing them in the outfit images below!(shop this outfit here)

I got the beaded heart earrings in they they’re so cute and very lightweight – you can hardly feel them! I think I need to get them in another color!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
