Affordable, Trendy Pieces to Mix Into Your Spring Wardrobe

I’ve always shopped at a variety of price points to build my wardrobe. I’ll spend $150 on a pair of shorts and pair them with a $10 tee. For me, it’s all in how you style the pieces together – so I’m partnering with Walmart today to bring you a ton of Spring/Summer looks that are on-trend and each item is under $25! I’ve mixed and matched them in with pieces from my wardrobe to inspire you for the warmer weather ahead (or, if you’re in the South like me, you need these outfits today!)

I have to admit – I didn’t realize how much Walmart revamped their women’s clothing/fashion selection. As I was pursuing their website for items I wanted to share with y’all, I was totally taken aback by the selection – tons of affordable, on-trend clothing and accessories (all of the items in my post are under $25!) If you haven’t checked out Walmart’s women’s clothing selection, you should definitely consider it for both staples (tank tops, tees, etc.) and trendy items (like maxi dresses and paper bag shorts ). The first look features this striped tank ($5.97) and these beautiful olive paper bag shorts ($13.93 – they’re a huge trend this season!) Both my tank and shorts are a size small – the tank is super thin and lightweight – perfect for when it’s hot out! You can pair this look with a denim jacket (this one is under $20), a crossbody bag and some cute wedges. For the next look, I switched out my denim jacket with this lightweight anorak jacket in a sunny yellow ($19.88 and comes in 4 colors). You can actually cinch in the sides to give it a little shape and feminine touch – a great transition piece!

If you’re looking for dresses for any occasion this Spring – brunch, a vacation, baby shower or other special event, Walmart has great options for those events as well! I styled this baby blue dress with ruffles ($18 – wearing a small) two ways.

For the first look I added this adorable “summer vibes” straw hat (hello, perfect beach/pool hat for just $9.97!) and this “vacay” straw tote ($14.97 – can you tell my mind is on summer travel?!)

For the second look with this dress, I added a belt and denim jacket! 
As y’all know, I can’t stop talking about yellow this season, so I found this $18.00 cami dress and couldn’t resist! I’m wearing a small – love the silhouette of this one. I also added this fun striped beach tote – I couldn’t believe the price ($22) – it’s lined inside and has a magnetic snap button closure! I love this straw clutch as well.

Last, but certainly not least – I found the perfect top for the office and a great pair of jeans! The pink top is $14, I’m wearing a small and I just adore this sleeve length. It would look perfect with skinny dress pants for the office – I love the asymmetrical ruffle hem. It also works well under a blazer or cardigan.

These skinny jeans (size 4, $16.87) are really flattering and have stretch, but I recommend ordering a size up – my usual size 4 was snug on me. These are a great option if you’d like a pair of jeans for summer with a little destruction detail to them. I’ve also heard amazing things about the Sofia Vergara jeans at Walmart – they’re always selling out!
