I love looking at my analytics and seeing what y’all love most – not only does it excite me to see when you trust my recommendations, but it helps me understand what you love and shapes my content. As always, I appreciate your support of me and my blog and thank you for shopping through my links, especially during the busy holiday season when you have 1000 things on your mind.
Speaking of which, before we get into October’s top buys, I need to take a moment to share a perspective-changing, game-changing book that you all need to read or listen to like yesterday. It’s called Present Over Perfect by Shauna Niequist. I’m two years behind since it was published in 2016…BUT I also don’t know even ONE woman who would not benefit from reading this. I purcahsed the book on Audible, but the hardvcover is $15 and trust me when I tell you this book and its message is worth that, tenfold. I plan to spend some time writing more about this book and its message, but it really spoke to me. This would be a perfect read before the insane holiday season.
If you’ve read it, I’d love to hear your thoughts. I struggle so much with a lot of the things Shauna has – and though I’ve improved in some areas, I’m not where I want to be and I’m inspired by her unapologetic pursual of what she really wants in her life, work and relationships. Please consider this book $15 well-spent on self-care. In fact, if you want it, leave me a comment over on the corresponding post on Instagram and I will randomly choose a winner and send you a copy myself.
Here is October’s breakdown, in case you missed any of these!
top – jane.com | bag | leggings | hat – c/o P.volve
These pointy toe bow flats (that are now on sale!) were the most purchased.
This waffle-knit button-front top was one of my top amazon sellers this month – I have it in white in navy in a size small, but I recommend sizing up if you’d like a looser fit.
My new gleaming primrose mirror was the most clicked — and several of you told me you purchased the 3ft or 5ft version for your mantles during the 25% off sale! I’m just thankful the 7 ft tall mirror fit up our stairs! Praise!
This boyfriend blazer from my Trunk Club try-on was a huge hit. This black “going out” blazer was also incredibly popular – it’s the best!
I’m crossing my fingers that a lot of you were able to get the J.Crew Chateau Parka when it was on sale – it was one of my most clicked on items!
The coat I’ve dubbed the “Meghan Markle jacket” was also purchased by many of y’all – it honestly looks so amazing on – I have been wearing it to work every single day it’s below 70. Mine is a size small and it does have pockets!
So many of y’all tried Native deodorant (yay!) My code “veronika10” at checkout, will get you 10% off of your order and you can see my full review here.
The Shark vaccum was a big seller this month when it was on mega sale – ready my review here.
The Q&A a Day Journal was a top seller this month. Harper is obsessed with the kids version – she looks forward to the “question of the day” at bed time every night!
These holiday jammies were a big hit – warning, the pants are very long, so they’re better if you’re on the taller side!
Have a great week!
How do you like that bag? Can you fit much in it? It seems like a good alternative to the Gucci Marmont that is super popular right now.
I can fit my wallet and phone in it! Some lip gloss too. I love it and for the price, it’s very similar to the Gucci.
Rachel,
That bag is the size of a Gucci Soho Disco and is bigger than the Marmont bag. This is also a pretty alternative from Kate Spade.
Veronika,
Have you posted a picture of you in the Meghan Markle jacket? I love it but
I wish you posted pictures of the items instead of just links! I’m honestly tired of bloggers just looking to cookie grab. Show us the pics! If we like we will click and buy.
