The week after a vacation is always all over the place. Between unpacking, doing endless loads of laundry, getting everyone back to their normal schedules and a busy work week, it’s been a long week for our family. To top it all off, I was/am having major issues with my blog/hosting platform and it has been kind of a nightmare (an expensive nightmare) to deal with. Things should be back to normal next week and I have lots of fun content planned this month.

Also, in case you missed it on Instagram, I was able to donate $600 to JJ Watt’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund two Fridays ago. These funds were a result of your purchases (my commissions) on my sponsored post that went live during the hurricane here in Houston. I feel so fortunate to have such incredible, generous readers – thank you for allowing us all to be a part of giving back in this way!

Our trip to Disney World was so amazing – I can’t wait to share it with you all! I’m planning a series of posts because covering all of the parks in one post feels too overwhelming. I’m going to break them up into all four parks we went to (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios) and also share a separate post about what to pack/things we found made our trip easier. This will take some time, but I’m trying to make sure I sit down and write all that content this month so it’s fresh in my mind.

Lincoln’s second birthday is just around the corner and we’re planning a party at home with some close friends and plenty of food and cake, of course. I loved his party theme last year and can’t wait to celebrate our sweet, wild little boy. He has changed SO much this year and we’re so proud of all he has accomplished. Last week while at Disney, I was looking at my phone to check our next Fast Passes and Kevin was telling Lincoln we were going to go shopping to buy him a Dumbo toy (he was totally obsessed with that ride). I was distracted and suddenly Lincoln yelled “Mammmaaaaaaa we go go shoppingggg!” Best.kid.ever.

You know what I love? Target. You know what I love even more? Sharing my latest Target purchases with you. As I patiently wait for my online order to arrive, I’ll share with you some of the delightful items I purchased. My order included this glossy pink tray, these gold wire baskets, this globe and this gold elephant for our playroom shelves. I’m also loving these holiday dresses for girls, but I didn’t place an order yet because I wanted to wait to see what else came in. I’m kind of kicking myself because I’m worried they’ll sell out now…what say you? Should I just order the dresses now?
