Blush pink and a soft dove gray are a favorite style combo of mine and I love the way they transition into fall since the tones are more “dusty” than the crisp pastels we’re used to in the summer.
I’ve found so many cute tops at Nordstrom lately — from casual to dressy to athletic, that I’m sharing some of my recent finds here today. I love the price points of these items and Nordstrom has free shipping and returns, always, so it makes shopping easy and risk-free. I love that I can get clothes for workouts, weekends and the office all online from one retailer.
My first outfit features this long cardigan that is a linen blend and I’m so obsessed that this is the second color I’ve purchased. The one I’m wearing is an XS but my striped one is a small and both fit great. I paired it with this raw edge side-slit tee (just $24!) and my favorite leopard clutch which adds a fun pop of print to the otherwise neutral outfit. This clutch has been a staple for some time now and it’s back in stock after being sold out for a long time.
By the way — another blush favorite is this sweater that sold out last year but is finally re-stocked!

I purchased this twist-front tee in two colors because I adore it so much. Mine is a medium and it works just as well as an everyday tee as it would for the gym. The length is great, the material is soft and the twist is a fun detail that makes it more than just a simple tee. I love it with jeans, dress pants or leggings — it’s truly that versatile. The best part? It’s just $22 and comes in six colors!

Here is the twist front tee in a dusty rose shade paired with leopard heels.
I also picked up some new workout tops recently that I know y’all will love. Both are under $50 and help wick away sweat.
The first is this zella great escape camisole which has the coolest back detail ever. It’s super lightweight and has cute perforation details. I still wear my nursing sports bras all the time even though I’m out of that phase of my life. I love the bravado ones – great quality and support!zella great escape camisole | bravado nursing sport bra here and here | adidas pink shoes | leggings | boatneck ribbed pullover (around my waist)
The second workout/lounging tank I discovered is this adidas logo tank. It’s the prettiest soft pink color and is made of a thicker fabric that retains its shape well. I have the cotton version as well that I got during the anniversary sale.

And to show you how the $22 twist-front tee works as a gym/athleisure tee, I shot it with leggings and sneakers too!
Okay, before I go, I wasn’t going to include any beauty products in this post, but I can’t resist sharing this. I will do a more in-depth review soon, but I heard about this product recently and decided to spring the $40 for it because the reviews seemed amazing.
It’s the Charlotte Tilbury healthy glow moisturizer and it’s a unisex product, though I’m 100% certain my husband would never use it, ha. The first time I tried it, I thought it was going to be a total disaster, but it’s actually amazing.
It’s a moisturizer that comes out white but immediately turns bronze when you apply it to your skin. It gives such natural results and kind of tints your skin. The idea is a “your skin but better” finish — just be sure to bring it down to your neck so there are no obvious lines.
I used this and then applied a tiny bit of concealer and finishing powder and it’s a beautiful finish that gives your skin a little extra color. I’m actually wearing it in these photos in place of my regular foundation.
I will say, I think this product does give more natural results if you have an existing tan (which I don’t), but I use the smallest amount to get a healthy dose of color to my skin and it’s working incredibly well. I think this is a great product for travel since it helps conceal flaws but doesn’t feel like you’re wearing makeup. Let me know if you’ve tried this!

Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring this post! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is so disappointing. Our city is literally drowning and you are posting about buying stuff.
I talked about this today on my Instagram stories and on IG, here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYUNAPxlgCr/?taken-by=veronabrit.
This post is pre-written content. Many, many bloggers have contractual obligations with posts that are set to publish on certain days. I have been very, very active on social media sharing my prayers, updates about the conditions here and resouces so people can help.
I’m currently drafting a post about how people can help the hurricane victims that is set to publish tomorrow morning. I donated clothing, toiletries, diapers and wipes to the shelter set up at the GRB convention center today. I have offered my home to friends and aquaintances in need of shelter. I’m also planning to donate in many other ways. I am devastated about this. I have watched my friends lose their homes and people lose everything. I have cried with my friends on the phone. That is why I am using my platform to try and share how people can help this city recover from this.
That blush pink sweater is lovely, but they seem sold out in my size 🙁 I got a similar colored long jacket at the Nordstrom anniversary sale and just love it. So nice of you to donate your proceeds from the post! Glad your family made it through ok through the madness.
Thank you so very much for your support of our city <3
