Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017: What I Ordered Online

Guys, this is actually kind of embarrassing. I’ve made four orders online now for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I shopped online early morning when the early access sale started, picked up my purchases in store and then ordered more online pretty much every day since. I know that sounds excessive but it’s a few items at a time.

To be honest, I find the in-store experience a little overwhelming since I do most of my shopping online. I like when I can sit on my couch, sip tea and have 37 tabs open so I can add items to my cart as I go through them. My store didn’t have every item I wanted to try on in my size, so I knew I’d have to order online anway.

This post is a summary of items I ordered online during the early access portion of the Nsale. When the sale goes public on Friday, I’ll have some really fun styled outfits to share as well. I know shopping this sale can feel overwhelming with all of the hype around it, so I’m hope y’all find these posts helpful!

boatneck rib knit pullover  – I love the neckline of this lightweight pullover and it’s just $25 so I thought it would be a good addition to my closet that I can wear as the weather cools down.

v-neck pullover – I saw this in the store and I think they didn’t have the size I wanted so I ordered it online — it’s such a great price at $25 and I love the blush shade.

$15 v-neck tee – I realized that I don’t have any gray v-neck tees, so I decided to add this $15 one to my closet. I got a medium for a looser fit. It also has a cute pocket! I love all of the tees by this brand.

thermal top – I can’t wait for this one to come in! I love how waffle knits add such great texture to an outfit. The blush/lilac color is so pretty.

cutout choker tee  – If you follow my Instastories, you saw me try this one on and it’s amazing! It’s under $20 and I sized up to a medium. It looks super low cut on the model but it wasn’t too bad on me!

nude heels – My previous pair of nude heels completely fell apart (awful) so I added these $65 ones to my cart. I hope they’re comfortable! I love a matte nude (I also like patent, but I’ve been more drawn to matte lately).

skinny jeans – I ordered these in my regular size but had to re-order in a size down because they fit large and have a ton of stretch. Love these, but definitely size down! I have a feeling they’ll be re-stocked for public access.

spanx faux leather leggings –  These are so popular, they’re on backorder. I missed them the last time they were part of the sale but they’re going to be a fall staple. Everyone that has them raves that they’re the best leggings ever. I can’t wait to see if I agree!

adidas workout tank – I ordered this online but it was too large – I ended up re-ordering in a size small. I like my workout tops to be loose but the medium had a ton of gapping at the arms. Love the style and can’t wait to get the size down!

 adidas no-show socks – I love no-show socks and these were a great deal at $10!

 zella workout tank – I got this in two colors. I can’t wait for it to come in. New workout clothed definitely keep me motivated and these are $24.50!

zella cutout tank – This tank actually isn’t part of the sale, but my friend Emily was wearing it on Instastories the other day and I had to have it! I love the back!

pom pillow – I love to mix and match pillows all over our home and I thought the pom pom detail was so cute and at just $25 it’s such a great deal for a decorative pillow.

leopard blanket – I will never stop talking about this blanket. Our entire family loves it. The kids sit next to each other and snuggle under it in the morning and I’m using it right now. It’s soft and huge and worth every single penny. It’s $118 during the sale and usually $180. It’s 100% splurge-worthy and it sold out last year. I know why now.spanx power shorts + spanx higher power shorts – The Nsale is the perfect time to take advantage of great discounts on staple items. It may not be as fun as a trendy top or cute pair of booties, but this is the kind of stuff you need so your clothes look good! I had to borrow spanx from my neighbor recently so I finally ordered two pairs of my own, plus the  spanx bralette, which I’m really excited about.
