There’s nothing I love more than shopping for kids clothes. Harper and Lincoln’s closets are an endless source of happiness for me because I love buying them adorable outfits that are also super comfy and can withstand Houston’s heat. I also want to make sure the clothes last through constant washing and drying. Many of you probably shop at Nordstrom for your own clothing (raises hand) but you may not realize that they have an incredible selection of clothes for kids, too! It’s always free shipping and free returns, so you never have to worry about sizes being right (to be honest, if I’m unsure or it’s a new brand to me, I usually order two sizes).
Sometimes, I like to match Harper and Lincoln and these outfits are just too much cute to handle. Harper’s wearing a tea collection dress and Lincoln is in tucker + tate, one of my favorite kids lines Nordstrom carries.
On Harper: natives (glitter) | tea collection dress (on sale for $22!) | floral sunglasses (sold out, other options here) | jellycat bunny
On Lincoln: tucker + tate shorts | tucker + tate striped tee | natives (navy blue)
To say we love natives is a total understatement. I’ve been purchasing them for Harper since she was 18 months old in various colors. They’re durable, can be worn with socks or bare feet, are great in the water, can be washed and have holes so they’re a little more breathable. Both of my kids adore wearing them and they look so cute with every outfit.
We’re also huge fans of birkenstock sandals for kids because they buckle on and stay on. They’re also comfortable and supportive. Lincoln loves his adidas superstar sneakers — they’re so classic and I love the velcro— it makes it easy to get them on and off. They also fit his feet well, so if your child has wider feet, they’re an excellent choice. This tucker + tate dress is a great lightweight summer cotton with a little stretch to it and I love the print and smocking at the neckline!
On Harper: birkenstock sandals | tucker + tate dress | floral sunglasses (sold out, other options here) | jellycat bunny
On Lincoln: tucker + tate shorts | tucker + tate striped tee | adidas superstar sneaker
Tucker + Tate has some pretty adorable tees— Harper has this unicorn one and it’s so fun!
Below are some more of my favorite summer picks for boys and girls!

Your kids always look so chic! What are your thoughts on the line, matilda Jane for girls? I have been invited to several trunk shows in my area but cant find myself drawn to the clothes 🙁 I posted on a mom’s page asking what was so special about that particular look and all of them replied how amazing the line was. I just didn’t get it. am I the only one here?
You are NOT alone…it’s not for me. I’m not a fan of the multi ruffle pants and some of the clothing can look a little costume-like to me. I have seen some rompers that are cute, but overall it’s just NMS. Having said that, I can see why some moms love the clothes as they’re different than most of what’s out there for kids!
seriously what cuties- lincoln is going to be such a ladies man! i love that unicorn tee too!
