I don’t consider myself to be particularly drwan to bohemian styles since they’re on the more casual side and I like to buy tops that can be worn to work as well, but this top was too good to pass up.
I think if you’re on the shorter side, you could truly wear this as a mini dress. I opted to do a half-tuck because I liked the way it looked, but this top is a true tunic length, which I love.top (c/o) | sunglasses | earrings | jeans | straw clutch | heels
What do y’all think of tunics? I would totally wear this over a swimsuit as well— it’s that versatile!

Could you please pull your hair back for a photo or two so we can see the details of the garment in all its glory? Thanks!
Thanks for the reminder! We sometimes shoot so quickly that I forget to take those shots.
You can always go to the retailer’s website for more photos. I don’t understand why people are constantly making a big deal about you having your hair down for your photos. I never see bloggers adjust their hair for different shots.
Hi Rachel! Thanks for your comment! I try to remember to take a few shots with my hair moved, but I forget to a lot of the time since I’m trying to shoot the outfits pretty quickly! I appreciate your suggestion about the manufacturer’s website— I find that most have the option to zoom in on the item so you can better see the fabric/details if needed!
Hi Rachel, I’m not sure which blogs you like but some of my favorites show close-ups of some of the pretty, intricate details that make these outfits unique! I think it would be really cool to photograph them sometimes, in addition to a full length shot or two. We got 7 photos of Veronika with this post – yes, very pretty – but many of the shots are nearly identical. My comment (along with several other people, apparently, as the ‘please pull back your hair’ comment was some constructive criticism from Veronika’s survey results not too long ago) was just a suggestion to change it up a little. Obviously I realize the manufacturers sometimes have zoom-in features on their websites. I’m just suggesting some of the detail shots for variety!
Keep up the good work, Veronika!
Thanks Kate! I’m going to have to remind Kevin to remind me haha 🙂 I have the worst memory ever.
PS- I would love to see some examples of shots you find to be good up-close-detail shots! I’m always send my husband examples of shots I like so we can try to create better images 🙂
