I’m so excited about this post because it’s full of bright, sunny colors I know y’all will love! Dressing for spring and summer is always so fun because it’s a time to add color to your wardrobe and incorporate more brights and pastels — and that goes for accessories too.
Accessories can really make an outfit feel special, so today I’m sharing my favorite accessories from Nordstrom + how I style them. From casual to dressier looks, bold accessories are a great way to add interest to any look.
This is going to be a two-part post, so stayed tuned for the next one where I’ll share even more of my favorite picks. Nordstrom makes it easy to shop for accessories because they offer free shipping + free returns and the product photos on the website are always so crisp and clear so you know exactly what you’re getting and can order with confidence.
I’m a big fan of tassel earrings and have quite an extensive collection. I own four pairs in two sizes — in turquoise, light blue, blush pink and white. You can’t get more versatile than these colors. I have two different lengths because I like to wear the shorter ones to the office and the longer ones on weekends.turquoise | pink | blue | white
Here’s a closer-look! They’re well made and they don’t feel to heavy or irritate my ears, which is a huge bonus since I have sensitive skin.Below are a few ways I’ve styled these earrings. It’s worth noting that a post about favorite accessories can absolutely not be complete without talking about my Karen Walker sunglasses. They’re holy grail status for me and very much worth the investment.
I would say the turquoise tassel earrings are the most versatile of the bunch because turquoise is such a quintessential color for spring and summer and works as a neutral paired with any outfit.
I’m also LOVING this sea-glass necklace as a statement piece — in addition to lilac, it comes in turquoise and aqua and it’s just stunning.similar lilly pulizter dresses | sea glass necklace | turquoise tassel earrings | heels | sunglasses
My next favorite earring trend is crispin drops — they’re so fun and they weigh next to nothing. They come in a lot of color combinations and make a bold statement with their spun-thread texture.

I love how these blush crispin drops really complement this white eyelet dress.

They also pop so well against this deep olive bell-sleeve top!

Did you notice this amazing yellow clutch with tassels in my photos above? (okay, let’s be real— it’s kind of hard to miss!) It’s such an affordable option for the spring/summer and adds a pop of color to any outfit — whether you pair it with neutrals or other brights or pastels, yellow is such a cheery color that looks great as an accent paired with most other colors. This clutch will be a go-to for summer date nights, BBQs and more.It looks fantastic alongside all of the other accessories featured in this post!

You’re earring collection is amazing! I don’t own a single Baubblebar item… I know blogger shame… I just have very sensitive earlobes (which I realize sounds ridiculous haha). Are the crispin drops the least heavy?

Yes— they are the least heavy of the bunch! You know what’s crazy? When I was pregnant/nursing I could not wear non plated earrings ever– they irritatted my ears so much. But I have never had an issue with any of these, even after a full day of wear. I didn’t start to wear them until I was done nursing so who knows if hormones were at play…but I’m thrilled my skin tolerates them because they’re so pretty 🙂
Nothing against the sponsored post! But it seems repetitive to see these accessories again. I was hoping to see fresher content from you.
Hi there and thanks for your comment! In order to be true to my own style, I choose to share things I truly love and wear constantly because it’s authentic and a representation of what I wear in my day-to-day life and what I think are worthy investments. I have some new pieces coming up in my next accessories post as well.
Love all of these accessories, V! You look gorgeous!
