White will always be one of my favorite colors to wear (or non color, if we’re being scientifically accurate). This dress is so perfect — the length is great, the crochet lace is feminine and classic and it has a collar. I’m impressed with the quality and the lining of the dress.
This is a size small and it fits TTS!Crochet White Dress (c/o) | tortoise frame sunglasses | block heel sandals | earrings | scalloped tote (love this one too)
Happy shopping!
I love your blog and I have been following you for a long time. When I first saw this post, I was confused because I didn’t feel like this dress is your style. You’ve never worn this type of neckline and if I recall when you used to write about clothing more before Harper, you said you didn’t like this cut.
It made me really sad to see that this dress is Chicwish because I know this is not a brand that you would have normally bought in real life. Furthermore, Chicwish is an awful retailer with terrible reviews. They have been giving bloggers free stuff with the hopes of turning around their reputation for a while.
You’ve always talked extensively about the quality of clothes and you and I both know that this dress isn’t of the same quality as the other brands you wear.
I have never had a problem with sponsored posts because I have always felt they are genuine but I don’t feel that way about this one. I don’t mean this in a bad way at all- as I said, I really enjoy your blog.
Hi Ana!
Just to clarify, this is not a sponsored post. I did recieve this dress but I picked it out myself and I am not obligated, contractually or otherwise, to post about it. I would not recommend an item I didn’t genuinely like to my readers. In fact, I have had to email companies about items I will not share due to the quality or fit, even when I pick them out myself. If they arrive and aren’t what I expected, I do not post about them.
I’m not sure what you mean about the neckline and don’t recall ever saying I didn’t like a higher-up neckline/collars (I wear collared shirts all the time), but tastes do evolve over time and I am always open to trying different styles.
Thank you for your comment and your feedback— just know that I turn down (paid) opportunities all the time because they are not a fit for my blog.
I appreciate you as a reader and glad that you feel you can come to me with this honest feedback!
