The off-the-shoulder craze from summer has continued into fall and winter and no one is happier than me because I LOVE this style and find it to be so flattering.
Today I’m sharing a favorite casual/laid back off-the-shoulder top and a dressy one that’s perfect for the holidays and beyond. Though both of these tops are black, they also come in other colors!
I’ll start with this Free People off the shoulder top that I purchased at Nordstrom. I love that Nordstrom carries Free People because they make the best loose-fitting tops that are perfect for weekends. This one is no exception and can be worn with everything from jeans to athleisure.
Mine is a size small and it has a large opening at the neck so you can wear it off of one shoulder (or both!) and it tapers down on the bottom so it’s more fitted around your hips. It also has billowy arms that taper down at the wrist— comfortable and chic!

Side note: I have been wearing these booties like crazy! I just love them so much and they go with so many outfits while looking amazing with both skinny jeans and dresses.
The second top I ordered from Nordstrom has a gorgeous pleats and lace trim on the bottom with billowy sleeves. It’s absolutely stunning in person (mine is a size small). The off-the-shoulder style of this top is cut straight across which works perfectly for the fabric and style. I can see this working perfectly with black skinny leather leggings for a festive look paired with heels and gold accessories. I paired mine with my favorite AG legging jeans and nude pumps.

Thanks Mary! There is no actual detailing at the neckline of either top (like embelishments or anything like htat) so I didn’t think to move my hair away but I appreciate this feedback for the future!
