I typically feel that eyelet is a spring and summer style, however, if you live in the South like I do, our fall is still pretty hot. So while the rest of the country is starting to wear boots, jackets and scarves, we’re left in limbo because many days, it’s still 80 degrees out.
I recently purchased this navy eyelet top and I love it as a transition piece. It doesn’t look too summery, but the fabric is lightweight enough to wear in warmer temperatures and the eyelet is more subdued in navy. It’s a top that works for the office or the weekend. Mine is a small tall, for reference.

Have a great week!
stunning, v! love that top!
thank you! 🙂
Seriously get off your ass and cook your own damn food. You don’t cook or really clean because you “don’t have time” but you sit around on Snapchat and Instagram asking Lincoln if he’s eating chicken and calling him mister repeatedly…like, how lazy can you be?!
Hi Ashley from Burlington! I’m sorry you feel I am “lazy” because I choose to spend time with my children on weekends instead of cook and clean all hours of the day. In fact, I did clean this weekend. I did about five loads of laundry and cleaned our bathroom and kitchen, since you seem to be interested in how I spend my time. I’m not sure how I can be lazy considering I work full time, care for two children and maintain my blog, which is also a business. I work all the time. So if my family is going to help me by cooking wonderful meals for us then I’m very thankful for that help. If you have nothing nice to say, maybe you shouldn’t say it.
Ashley, you should be ashamed of yourself. This is a rude and obviously untrue comment!
Ashley/Savannah since you’re now using a different email address to leave comments here (why? why not just write to me using your real name if you truly believe the things you’re saying?). I’m not going to respond to or publish your last note to me because the exact reason I stopped reading blogger hate sites this year is so I wouldn’t have to read this kind of garbage. One thing I will correct you on is that my in-laws do not and never have paid for my children’s daycare. It’s unbelievable to me that you know nothing about my family or our finances and yet you feel confident sharing information that is not true. I will not be approving or responding to any further comments from you on my blog. You want to tell someone they’re lazy? You’re welcome to find someone else because your efforts will no longer be acknowledged here.
? I can’t even.
I love your blog posts, i always get outfit inspirations from them! You are doing an amazing job Mama, having a part time job, taking care of two young ones AND maintain an active blog. KEEP IT UP!!! 🙂

Thank you so much Cynthia! 🙂 happy monday!
I love your posts! They help me from staring blankly into my closet in the morning ? It amazes me that women can’t just support other women. If you don’t like what you see, keep scrolling or click unfollow – it’s that simple! Ignore the haters, some people have too much time on their hands!
Thanks for your comment and support Sharilyn!
