Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: What I Actually Ordered

Yesterday,  I shared with you ladies my first-look picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and today I’m sharing what I’ve actually ordered so far.

I went to Nordstrom the first day of the early-access sale and I found the experience really overwhelming and due to the sizes I needed being gone, I went home and placed my order online after trying things on. I used to love going shopping but these days, I prefer to try things on in the comfort of my own home and in good lighting. While it’s great that they have areas of the store dedicated to the sale where all sale items are located, I still find it really time consuming to sort through it all to find what I’d like to try on. Having said that, it was nice to try on some of the items before purchasing to have a full sense of the fit and quality of the item.

So, here’s what I actually ordered online (I did get to try a few of these on in-store, which I’ll share more about below)

The tee below is actually the  deep v pocket tee. I did not purchase this tee because it was a little shorter than I had hoped, but I love the way it feels and drapes (if you’re shorter than me, I would totally get it!) The jeans I’m wearing in these photos are my holy grail  AG legging jeans! They’re on mega sale but I didn’t get them since the pair I have is nearly identical. I wish they would have had a darker wash because I definitely would have purchased a second pair.

This gray Halogen tee is one I purchased in store in navy blue and later come home and ordered online in white. The gray was a medium and a little big on me so I ordered a small. The navy one is a size small and fits great- the pictures don’t do it justice. The fabric is so soft.

This cocoon cardigan is a favorite. The one I am wearing is a small and I ordered an XS online. In my opinion, it fits on the larger side so I would size down. It’s so soft and cozy and a great price at $49 (originally $74)
This striped tee is another classic that I just couldn’t pass up. The one in these photos is a medium and too large for me so I ordered both the small and XS online to determine which fit would be better since it’s quite an oversized shirt. The fabric is soft and swings nicely.
This tassel top wasn’t part of the sale but it’s too cute not to share! I wish I had had this top for the 4th of July!
I’m really excited for my order to come in and when it does, I’ll share some try-on photos. The illesteva sunnies are going to be such a fun addition to my collection and I couldn’t pass up the  living proof perfect hair day value kit that has a $70 value. I already use and love all three products so I stocked up at the lower price. If you haven’t tried this line, you should! Read my reviews here and here. The faux diamond earrings were a fun purchase since I wanted bigger ones to alternate with the ones I wear daily right now.
