Today I’m sharing some recent purchases for Harper and Lincoln from Baby Gap, Zara and Joe Fresh.
I love so many of Baby Gap’s holiday offerings. They’re having sales constantly— right now it’s 50% off for cardholders using code BFRIDAY. I was able to take advantage of this “early Black Friday sale” in store today (skipping the crowds and shopping while merchandise is still available!)
Here’s what I picked up: Intarsia sweater
chambray shirt
cable knit sweater | marled sweat pants
plaid shirt peter pan collar shirt | plaid skirt
puffer jacket
plaid shirt dress
sweater dress reindeer sweater
happy stripe sleeper
oh what fun onesie | happy stripe pants
marled sweater one piece
baby’s first christmas | little camper
star wars top | striped leggings
shawlneck sweater
one piece with bow tie
I hope you like my picks! Happy shopping!
Cute clothes! Just a question about baby clothing in general.. do you always buy new clothes for Harper? Or do you ever buy gently used from mom to mom sales, etc? I just find kids grow sooo fast and I end up spending so much money buying new items (which get stained so quick!) every few months..
I mostly buy new clothes, which I then donate to friends or to charities when she outgrows them. I keep a few of my favorite pieces too (saving for her when she’s older if she wants them). Her clothes do get dirty at dacyare but there haven’t been any that a good stain remover hasn’t saved 🙂 I buy all of her clothes for 40-50% off or more, so I don’t mind buying new in that regard since it tends to be fairy inexpensive once the discount is applied.
one more thing I’ll mention— now that she is a toddler, I’m not buying new sizes every few months anymore. I find she stays in the same size now for at least 6 months at a time so she can wear a collection of clothes for quite some time since we don’t really have four seasons here.
I just love these picks! I have often purchased things for my daughter after seeing the things you choose because I share your love for the classic things(and I also am a cardholder which always gives you the best deals!! I agree). And now picking for both genders, oh my, what heaven! 🙂 Happy holidays!
Hi Veronika, I live about 2.5hrs away from Gap and online shipping is pricey. I’m thinking about ordering some clothes for my little boy. He’s 15wks old. Do you think Gap runs true to size in it’s kids range?
Cathriona
Cathriona— that is tough to say because Harper is always up a size or two for her age, but she is in the 90 percentiles for her age. I think shipping is free if you order $50 worth it items— is that not the case for where you’re located? I tend to have bigger babies/kids so they are always up a size (Lincoln is 6 weeks and barely fits in 0-3 and is slowly filling out 3-6 months).
I LOVE the peter pan collar shirt paired with that plaid skirt. I would totally wear that too lol!
Really cute! Any idea how the puffer jacket fits in the car seat? I’ve heard that it’s a good choice as it’s warm without being bulky. Thanks!
I personally wouldn’t use it in a car seat—but here is a good resource on this topic: https://csftl.org/hello-winter-good-bye-coats/ written by certified techs 🙂
Oh my goodness! Every single item is super adorable! And that plaid skirt with the blue shirt was just worn by a little girl I shot for a photo session tonight so now that I’m seeing it again, I think I need to get it for my daughter 😉
