Happy Sunday! Harper went to bed a little early tonight because she was way exhausted, so here I am watching Bachelor in Paradise and sharing a few favorites and weekend moments.
Let’s get to the timely stuff first— today is the last day to shop Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale before prices go up tomorrow. I didn’t go too crazy shopping the sale this year because, let’s face it, come fall, I’ll be wearing leggings and sweatpants for the majority of my maternity leave…but I did get a few fantastic items like this white blouse, a kate spade wallet and a black tunic.
I’m also contemplating pulling the last-minute trigger on these Sam Edelman scalloped flats…thoughts? (I would get the soft nude leather)

I recently added this Daniel Wellington Classy Galsgow watch to my collection. To say I’m obsessed is an understatement. This is the first DW that I got with the Swarovski crystals and it’s so so pretty. If you’re looking to add a new watch to your collection, you can use code “VERONABRIT” at checkout for a discount on your order through August 31st. I got the rose gold but it also comes in silver. You can check out the entire women’s collection here.
Also, BEST NEWS EVER! One of my IG followers let me know that Target’s tassel cover-up/dress is back in stock and it’s now available online in all sizes! YAY! You can check it out here.

Harper still loves to wear bows (thank God) and she got a few sweet packages in the mail this week. The Crafted Co. sent a natural linen and black dotted bow. They’re super cute and well made and I love the size.
ZoZu Baby sent Harper their white dotted bow and two adorable petite felt bows. She wore the white one all weekend!
We visited Pottery Barn Kids Saturday since we ate dinner at a restaurant near the store and I was smitten with this crown cornice with tulle. I’m already thinking about Harper’s big girl bed but haven’t made any final decisions yet. I really like the simplicity of the Jenny Lind bed as well as its crisp white color, so it’s currently a top contender. But I love the idea of adding a sweet little touch above the bed like this!
Today we celebrated Bennett’s second birthday at The Little Gym and Harper had a blast. Kevin was washing her hands after they ate lunch and cupcakes and Harper said “this party was good!” A solid nap followed the birthday fun.
I hope your weekend was great! To get more snippets from our weekend, add me on Snapchat (@veronabrit).
PS— I am co-hosting a major IG giveaway for mama/baby-realted products with some awesome blogger mamas. Check it out & enter here.

Veronika, I love following your blog. I follow mainly for the fashion, as my "baby" is 23, but I love reading all about Harper — she is SO CUTE. I have a question and a comment. First the comment: I *think* you won't have any stretch marks with this baby, despite not much belly lotion. I think it is genetic. I never put a drop of lotion on my belly when pregnant, and delivered full term with no stretch marks. 🙂 Second, I just ordered a Danial Wellington watch using your code — thanks — I got a $149 watch, really pretty, for $101 delivered here in the US. The question is: is the code a one-time use thing only? I've now decided that I will need some additional wrist bands for my watch. Thanks!! And I hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. 🙂
Hi Anna! Thanks so much for your comment 🙂 I too think they're genetic. I actually have a few on my hips from growth during puberty (very faded now since it's been so long) but I never got any during pregnancy and so far it looks to be the same with this baby. Here's to hoping!
I believe you can use the code again— I would try by adding them items to your cart and using the code and seeing if it takes the discount. If it doesn't work, use your work or an alternative email to set up an account and try it that way. Hope you love yours as much as I do mine!
I'm loving your snapchats lately! In regards to a bed for Harper, how long will you keep her in her crib? We're shopping for a crib right now and don't know how long people traditionally have their babies sleep in a crib. We're trying to decide how much to spend and whether to get a convertible crib.
I would get the scallop flats for sure! And the colour is perfect…you wear them heaps for the next 12 months at least! x
Hey Veronika! Loooooove the crown with tulle idea for above her big girl bed! Would love to read a post about when you convert her to a big girl bed from the crib! Also curious what her schedule is like? What time does she normally go to bed, wake up, and nap? She’s a little older than my son, but I’m always interested in other momma’s schedules 🙂
Harper is in bed by 8 PM. We usually start our bed timr routine at 7:15 or so. Some days earlier, some days later. Sometimes we will play in her room, read, have her sit on the potty (just for practice) and then we do bath time, dry off, put a fresh diaper on and let her pick her PJ’s. Then we brush her teeth. After that, we put her in her crib, say our prayers and I sing her a few songs. She usually wakes up between 6:45- 7 a.m. 🙂
