A Girl Next Door look with Mary Kay®

I’ve created several looks with Mary Kay® products over the last couple of years and I’ve really enjoyed using them—many have even taken up a permanent spot in my makeup drawer! Today I’m showing you an All-American Girl or “girl next door” look that celebrity makeup artist Moani Lee created to celebrate Mary Kay’s Official Beauty Sponsorship of the 50^th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in April.

To create this look, I used:

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color in Pale Blush

Mary Kay® Precious Pink Mineral Eye Color

Mary Kay® Bronzing Powder in Light/Medium

Mary Kay® Eyeliner in Deep Brown

Mary Kay® Lash Love® Lengthening Mascara in I ♥ Black

Mary Kay® Strawberry Cream Mineral Cheek Color

Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss- I mixed together Silver Moon and Cafe Au Lait

This look is so similar to my everyday look– the only thing I added was the eye color— I don’t usually wear eyeshadow because with my eyelid shape, you can’t always tell I’m wearing it, but I ended up brining the cream eye color from my lids into the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up. This is one of my favorite tricks to make the eye area look brighter and more open.

The Silver Moon Lip Gloss had small flecks of glitter in it, but when applied, it just gave the lips a nice sheen and didn’t look like something you’d wear to a nightclub in your 20’s, so that was a relief.
The Strawberry Cream Mineral Cheek Color was one of my favorite products— it gave such a fresh glow to my cheeks.
