Happy Monday— I hope your week is off to a great start! I feel like I always talk about the weather in my blog posts and that’s largely because checking the daily forecast largely determines what I wear every day— especially when the temperatures fluctuate so much throughout the day like they do in Houston.
It started off kind of chilly this morning so I took advantage and wore one of my new blanket scarves from BrinaBox. This one is called the double time blanket scarf— it has a gorgeous tartan print on one side and a herringbone on the other. It screams “holidays,” and to be honest, it would make a perfect throw for a favorite armchair for the holidays. I like a scarf that’s versatile!
I layered the scarf over a long-sleeved tee and blazer so that by the time I was driving home from work I could remove the scarf and blazer and be comfortable. I have to admit all of these blanket scarves have come in mighty handy when they crank the A/C at work (which is always).
I also ordered these sunglasses from amazon for $5! They’re the ones Megan blogged about awhile ago. We have a trip coming up this winter and I wanted to have some shades that I wouldn’t have to worry about if they broke or were lost. They’re kind of huge, just like Megan told me they would be, but I love them. I also got them in tortoise. You can buy them here.
Absolutely LOVE this scarf esp with the 2 prints 🙂 This will def come in handy wit the cold blast we are about to get.

Love the contrasting houndstooth on the scarf!
Yay for new shoes!!! No more nude!!
Isn't it the best feeling when you can start wearing scarves?! I'm confident that Houston is like LA and our seasons are hard to come by so when it drops below 75 we'll take it! The outfits a classic, love it.
