Where to start with this weekend? Well, I missed Halloween, which was a huge disappointment. On Thursday afternoon I started to feel a bit wonky and by the time I got home I was feeling worse and I had that same feeling I had a couple of years ago…it was going to be a long night.
I was thrilled to be feeling okay because we had tickets to the Texans/Eagles game. It was my first-ever football game and I had really been looking forward to it.
My mother in law’s cousin Phyllis was in town and being from Philadelphia, she’s a huge Eagles fan so it was the perfect game for us to attend. Here she is with Harp, visiting earlier in the week and also from today after the game!
Though the Texans lost, I really enjoyed the experience of being at the game. I liked seeing the enthusiasm from all of the fans. We were in the nosebleed section, but it was a better view than I expected. We had a fun time and I’d love to go to another game sometime.
Before I go, I wanted to share this beautiful scarf I was sent by Manoosh which will be sold for a limited time at Julie Rhodes Fashion & Home here in Houston— it’s also sold on the company’s website, St. Cloud boutique and all three
Tootsies locations starting in mid-November.
Awww I'm so glad you're feeling better, Veronika! 🙂 I would never wish any sickness and fever on anyone. Fever is so debilitating and it's especially dreadful with a baby. And Harper is just the absolute sweetest! She has such a kind countenance….if that makes sense?? Hah!
So glad you're feeling better. We miss Halloween too, but it was because Marli was sick. First time ever in 19 months :/ Looks like you had a great weekend 🙂
