If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that a couple of weeks ago I went to San Francisco on a blogger’s trip with StitchFix. When I first got the email inviting me on the trip, I immediately forwarded it to my husband and put in the subject line “this can’t be real, right?” LOL.
It was the BEST trip! I met so many awesome women including Erin from Living in Yellow, Jen from Jen Loves Kev, Natalia from Ma Nouvelle Mode, Kilee from One Little Momma, Molly from Still Being Molly and Jill from Baby Rabies.
I also got to learn a lot about a great company—and I can’t wait to share more of that with you! I’ve decided to break my posts into day one, two and three so they’re easier to follow. Let’s start with my departure from Houston…
I was the last to arrive at the house StitchFix rented for us (we were in the Haight/Ashbury area). There were little arrows up the stairs of the house and notes that said to go to the rooftop patio and so I followed the arrows and met all the girls. We sipped some champagne and eventually we all went to sleep so we could get some rest before our day began the next morning. There were 7 bedrooms, so Kilee and I shared a room (we had bunk beds!) It was fun + our room had its own shower (bonus!)
Wednesday morning we all got ready and headed out to StitchFix’s headquarters. Their office is beautiful—really open-concept and no cubicles!
Some of the lead stylists were showing us some of the new fall inventory and it was really exciting to see all of the different items that were available. They obviously cater to so many different styles and seeing what kind of items were available really made me think about how I could enhance my own style profile to help my stylist select pieces I’ll love. I plan to share more tips on how to optimize your style profile in my next post. StitchFix has very specific questions they ask when you’re setting up your profile—but you can also add your own notes and link to a Pinterest board with looks you love to give your stylist even more direction. More on that later!
Here are some of my favorite items from the presentation:
After the tour of HQ, we had a picnic lunch at the park and it was absolutely beautiful. The StitchFix team did such an amazing job of making us feel welcome and pampered for the entire duration of the trip— every detail was thought of— from having things like shampoo and toothpaste and sweet gift bags and cake + champagne at the house when we arrived— to bringing cushions for us to sit on at lunch because the grass was a little wet. The ladies at SF are awesome! I’m so thankful for their wonderful hospitality. And the tissue flowers below were made by some of the girls at SF—aren’t they gorgeous? They used the same book I own to create these pretty blooms. Check it out here!
Lovely trip Veronika! The pics on IG looked like you were having so much fun! I want to subscribe but I am going to wait to read your posts about the items you receive in each box. Happy Monday!
I will definitely share them and try all of the stuff on too! 🙂 thanks for reading!
Wow! What an amazing opportunity!! Looked like a blast! Stitchfix did such a good job showing you ladies a lovely time!
They were great! We had the best time, thanks for reading 🙂
What a wonderful trip and it looks like the Stitch Fix ladies were very accommodating to all of you! I am in love with that fur vest and their jewelry! Looks like I need to plan my next Stitch Fix!!
Carrie— let me know if you do! I think you will like the service— if you see other blogger's fixes and you like a certain item—pin it to your Pinterest board that is associated with your account and if they have it in stock in your size, they will try to send the exact item!
yes! awesome recap!! the HQ was the best! and i would eat all day there as well!
Ahh!! you were in SF?! I read your blog daily and would've loved to have seen you at a blogger/reader meetup while you were here! I live here (sf) and love your blog and sweet family. please make another trip soon! xo,alex (sf reader)
Sorry I missed you! We didn't have a ton of free time— BUT I would LOVE to come back 🙂 it is the most gorgeous city! do you live in the city or outside of the city? either way, it's beautiful!
So much fun and what a cool opportunity! I've had two "fixes" and while they weren't hits out of the ballpark, they were fun and I enjoyed seeing what I was sent. Excited to hear more, I love hearing about the inner culture of companies.
It was so cool to learn all about the company— I will share more in my next post 🙂
Hi Veronika! Are you still doing the barre classes? How are they going?
Hi! Thanks so much for asking 🙂 I was taking classes at The Bar Method— I was going twice a week which was a great start for me. Then we had a couple of busy weekends and I didn't go for two weeks. I'm joining another studio in our area that offers 8PM classes, as well as classes during lunch time. It is closer to my house and the later classes mean I can still do bedtime with Harper and then leave for workout class. It's perfect! I LOVE the Bar Method, but their latest class time is still too early for me. The other studio has so many more class times/options available. I will deftinitely do an update. I plan to go 4 days a week 🙂
So glad you enjoyed SF!
Thank you! Do you live there? So lucky!
What an awesome opportunity! I love SF and can't wait to go back. This is one of the reasons I love blogging!
It's the greatest city!
I have gotten 8 or 9 fixes now (and another is coming on Friday!), and I absolutely love it. They nailed my style from fix 1. Looks like you had a great time!
So glad you had such a great experience with your fixes. I think I know what to ask for now that I've seen the warehouse and know the different styles they carry 🙂 I can't wait for my next one!
Beautiful photos! SF must be an amazing city!

It looks like such a fun and unique trip! Definitely wouldn't mind one of those myself 😉 And I love the concept of an open work atmosphere. I bet it raises the satisfaction and productivity of all the employees.
I'm assuming they sent you on this trip to bring awareness to their company, and yet I didn't learn a thing about what this company actually does from this post.
Stitch Fix is a great concept and I watch the youtube hauls from them voraciously. The only thing that stops me from pulling the trigger is that the items are overpriced for the quality. So people are essentially paying for the personal stylist which might be worth it, IDK yet.
