I absolutely love half-sleeve tops. This one is a recent purchase from Banana Republic and it’s so easy to wear and is a great transition piece between our searing hot summers and our (less) searing hot falls.
A simple cream and black outfit is always classic and today I added a faux calf-hair leopard print heel for a little interest in an otherwise basic outfit.
top- banana republic (nla but check out these similar options-I love them! 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6) | skirt- j.crew | heels- nordstrom | necklace- ℅ tiny tags | watch- michael kors
What are your favorite transition pieces if you live in a warmer climate?
I love them too! I just bought and wore a very similar top yesterday, but mine is from Loft. They are great for our weather!
My co worker wore a nearly identical top from LOFT today too 🙂 so cute!
Great outfit – simple but really sophisticated. I have a few moto vests in different materials that I love wearing during the transition. They are fairly lightweight so I sport them with a shirt sleeve and in the winter time, layer it with long shirts or sweaters.

thank you brooke 🙂 I like your blog! I need to get motivated to work out more often!
Most of my tops are three quarter of half sleeve. It was unintentional at first, but I love how versatile it makes your wardrobe in the fall months. Gorgeous outfit!

I agree the half sleeve is such a great top – so work appropriate too and you don't feel like you have to wear a cardigan!
totally! I love me a cardigan but it's nice to just wear a top on its own sometimes too 🙂
You looks great!!I l love your lip color too. What color is it??
Hi thank you! It's a Mary Kay lipgloss- Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss in Au Naturel.
Veronika, as a working mother of two, sometimes it's just hard to get ready and put together in a pinch (in the wee hours of the morning) for the office. Your OOTD posts are inspiring (simple, and yet classy) and just so darn helpful sometimes. I do love that you look for sales and much of your office wardrobe are at a price point for professional working women. As we approach cooler temperature weather, I'm looking forward to more OOTD ideas/posts. Thank you so much!
Thank you so very much for your comment! I am glad my outfits inspire your own workwear. I love having this space where I can share outfits and ideas with other women who have similar style needs. Thanks for reading 🙂
