Yesterday, Linh from A Beautiful Rawr left a comment on my post saying “I think having to dress up in 100 degree weather must be illegal somewhere.” Haha, I think she’s onto something!
This deep navy J.Crew dress that I purchased on sale right before Harper’s first birthday has been a key piece in my summer wardrobe (and will transition beautifully into fall). It’s not a light, airy fabric, like some of my summer dresses, but it’s so easy to throw on under a blazer or cardigan and I love the shape. This is one of the dresses I had altered recently to lengthen the hem. I’ve shown you a few others and I’m so happy with how they turned out, because I feel so much more comfortable wearing them now.
I wore my new Kendra Scott Rayne necklace today as well as the Morgan stud earrings. I just love her pieces, they’re so versatile and add a pop of color to any outfit.
