A Day at the Zoo!

I have visited the Toronto Zoo many times as a child and I was so excited to bring Kevin and Harper there. We were there for about five hours and it was a really great day excursion. Maja, Chad and their little girl Doutzen met us at the zoo and we explored all of the exhibits together. It was the perfect day!


By far the highlight of the visit was seeing the pandas. I have a bit of an obsession, so it has always been a dream of mine to see pandas in real life. So glad the Toronto zoo got some!


We enjoyed Harper’s reactions to the animals and she was really having a blast running around when she wasn’t in her stroller. She even napped towards the end of our time there which was great.

Chad caught the attention of this cheetah and he came right up to the glass! The people around us called him the “animal whisperer” haha. The cheetah literally held eye contact with him the entire time!
He also makes Harper laugh a lot, so maybe he’s a baby whisperer
Bunnies! Harper was obsessed!
We had the best time—so glad we made this visit during our trip!
