I’m really glad I ended up keeping this Banana Republic half-sleeve striped dress. It’s very comfortable and I love the bold stripes against the crisp white. I wore it with flats because I think the length is not a good one for heels and I did notice today that there is at least an inch to an inch-and-a-half of fabric in the hem and I may take it to the tailor to have it taken out. While this dress certainly isn’t revealing and I feel comfortable in it, I prefer a longer hemline when possible.

Wishing you a very happy Tuesday!
You look gorgeous as usual V! I'm so happy you're still blogging your outfits because I've always loved your style! This dress is great and so versatile. I think flats were a good choice, but I'd also wear it with heels or wedges when outside of the work place. I love stripes 🙂
thank you Noelle! 🙂 you're so sweet
This suits you so much, you have such great style! x

Dear Veronika you always are effortlessly a classy lady! Amazing nail color! Please can you share also the shade of pink nail color you were always wearing in the past few post? Kisses!!

Cute dress and love it with flats. Sometimes it is hard to find dresses that go with flats. I'm tall too and find that sometimes dresses are a little too short for me to be comfortable. I recently bought a gorgeous Antonio Melani dress at Dillard's for my son's baptism, but feel it's almost too short. There is extra fabric in the hemline and I've also considered having it altered.
If it will make you more comfortable you should definitely do it 🙂
Hi Veronika, I'm curious what kind of dresses/clothes you recommend for breastfeeding? I love the cut of dresses like the one you're wearing in this post – but it's obviously not very practical for breastfeeding! I'm a first time new mum and I'm struggling to find practical but still cute things to wear that are easy to pull down but don't leave me too exposed in public. Thanks!
When I was pumping at work, I just wore tops I could easily pull up or a dress I could zip down from the back. I only breastfed at the breast while I was on maternity leave so I never had to deal with finding nursing clothing—but I do hear boob design makes some great items for nursing so I would check them out! Or you could purchase a nursing cover if you wanted to wear shirts that you'd have to flip up to breastfeed.
Happy to see you are back to blogging outfits 🙂 Yay!
I don't tend to buy anything striped but I actually like this dress + loving the new nail polish shade!
Such a darling dress; simple and sophisticated! Lovely as always. 🙂
