Oh boy have I ever been MIA from the blogging world lately. We’ve been battling sickness after sickness in our family so this last month is kind of a write-off in terms of my energy and motivation levels.
My husband had ear surgery (all is well!) at the end of January and right after that I came down with a horrible sinus infection and was on antibiotics and steroids for 10 days. Then my husband and I got pink eye (somehow it skipped Harper, thank God).
We were okay for about a week and now we’re all battling colds again and my sinus infection may be on the horizon of returning (with a vengeance, of course). Gosh I hate being sick, but here’s to building up our immunity for next year, I guess! Anyway enough about my various ailments…
This past Sunday, I met up with Megan and sweet Olivia for some breakfast at Sweet Paris and we couldn’t resist taking a stroll to the Baby Gap in the Village. I picked up a few items for Harper and then when I went online today I saw that they had a bunch of new collection items that weren’t in the store. If this is any indication of what the summer collection is going to look like…ladies, we’re in trouble!
Here are some of my favorite picks…they’re in my cart ready to go when there’s a sale.
UPDATE: GAP is offering 35% off of your purchase using the code “TREAT”. I NEVER pay full price for anything at GAP, Banana Republic or Old Navy. I just save items in my online shopping cart and wait for a sale code before I buy. They have sales pretty much weekly but I don’t buy unless it’s AT LEAST 30% off. I try to hold out for 35-40% usually. Just wanted to update since this code was released this morning, February 28th! I’m glad I waited and didn’t make the purchase last night when I posted this!
Baby Gap Spring Collection Picks!
leggings- 1 + 2 | marled gray dress (absolutely a must-have!) | flutter sleeve blouse | cupcake tee– (I got the long sleeve version in-store)
Above are some recent purchases I made at Baby Gap. I ended up returning quite a few pieces I ordered from the Paddington Bear collection. Once they came in the mail, there were a few I didn’t like as much in person or that I didn’t think would last long enough with the sizes I got.
I mean, how cute is that dress?!
I hope you and your family have been happy + healthy and free from the colds, flus and sinus problems that seem to be going around this season. Here’s to one more workday until the weekend…cheers!
You have such a beautiful baby girl. I just started following your blog since I just open a blog myself.
