When I was pregnant with Harper, I started becoming more aware of eco-friendly, organic and natural products. I even changed all of my cleaning products so I wouldn’t be exposed to certain chemicals.
I picked out this pretty (and super-comfy) gray cover-up and one of their polka-dot bikinis (I don’t think it’s a surprise I chose polka-dots since I’m obsessed). Cover-ups are a total must-have right now as I’m nowhere near being ready to frolic on a beach in my bikini yet… or come to think of it, frolic in general. I think it’s clear this brand proves that being eco-friendly doesn’t mean sacrificing style.
And here is the bikini top—it’s SO cute and flattering and I love the feminine detail of the layered ruffles (it also comes with straps!)
LOVE that bathing suit!! If it wasn't fall I would be ordering already… hmm I may have to plan a tropical vacay… ha ha
I've only purchased a handful (seriously, five) pieces of clothing/shoes this year that weren't made in the USA. I'm very concerned about the chemicals that are being included in most pieces of clothing today and people don't even realize the dangers. I found a cute skirt the other day at Target that was made in China, but more importantly was stamped with a Prop 65 warning. Um, that warning is in place because those chemicals are known to cause birth defects and cancer! How is that even legal?!?!
I know when I do have children down the road I'll be even stricter with the materials that they come in contact with on a daily basis. Clothing is just like food. We as a culture hate on fast food, but we're totally okay with fast fashion. I love companies like Eco Swim, bought a suit of theirs this summer, who truly foster better fashion choices by their eco friendly work and their commitment to making garments in the USA.

Hello Newlywed Life Blog
Thank you for making a difference! xx Caro @closertocaro
SUPER CUTE!!! Love the hat too.
Thank you for keeping your website interesting with various interesting things. Most of the bloggers or vloggers make EVERYTHING about babies after they have one (and it's soooo annoying). It's really NICE to see you still think about/ show the things you loved prior to motherhood.
So cute!! i love the white with the black dots, looks very retro!

that bikini is so cute! are you ever going to do youtube videos again?? i miss them!
super cute! I find your comments about being no where near ready intimidating!! I really don't want my body to be any different post-baby… is that wishful thinking??? I know I can lose the weight but I'm terrified my bone structure won't be the exact same… you look practically the same, so do you notice THAT much of a difference?? can your hubs notice a difference??
oh this suit is SUPER cute!! Love it! ~Jenn
