It’s not even close to the “last days of summer” here in Houston where the heat and humidity continue to be bountiful. I’m more ready for fall than I ever have been. Alas, mother nature probably won’t grant us cooler temps until October, so I’m still wearing some of my favorite breezier summer dresses.
This one, from Lulu’s, has a beautiful low back which is a fun and unexpected detail. Plus, it keeps you pretty cool.
(…and you can still see the scar from my mole removal. sigh.)

Hope you’re enjoying cooler weather—or if it’s still hot, I hope you have a fully functioning A/C system 🙂
Wishing y’all a great weekend!

Gorgeous! Scares tell a story. I want to say I'm very happy you use your platform to educate young women on the seriousness of skin cancer and tanning beds.
Happy Friday,

Pretty dress! However I have 2 suggestions:
1. iron
2. spanx underneath just to hide pantyline.
nonetheless, you look stunning post-baby!
thank you for this suggestion! I didn't notice until after the photos were taken and didn't want to re-shoot it–but in the future I would definitely wear a slip!
Beautiful dress!!!! 🙂

You are looking fly, mama!!!
Your skin is beautiful 🙂 And I love your hair color btw! The dark and light ends looks great on you.
Beautiful and classy as always 🙂
If you want to speed up that mole scar healing, try ScarAway professional silicone strips (just bought mine on Amazon). Read the reviews, they say it really fades and diminishes all scars if you are diligent leaving them on. My dermatologist told me to use them on my c-section scar.
Sweet pea, I've been following your blog like a little fly on a wall for a while now. There's nothing wrong with a scar from a mole removal. It's proof that you are proactive about your health. I'm proud of you, and of who you are as a woman. Scars are not ugly. Lots of love, Kara from Indiana
