It’s hard to believe how quickly time is passing by. The other day I was going through my iPhone camera roll just marveling at how tiny Harper was when she was born and today I look over to see my beautiful, growing girl. Below is a list of items I’ve been loving for Harper lately…
Aiden & Anais Bibs
I don’t think a better bib exists! Things I love about them—super soft material, gorgeous colors and designs, they’re are super large and they have snap closures instead of velcro. These bibs are the perfect size and can deal with a lot of spit up. The softness makes them easy to use to wipe your baby’s face/mouth during feedings. I also love that they come in both the muslin and bamboo fabrics.
Dr. Brown’s 4 oz Bottles
Thank you Dr. Brown! Harper has been having major gas issues and these bottles seem to help a bit. She also seems to like the nipple on them. The bottles are designed to eliminate air bubbles in milk and formula and avoid nipple collapse so that the milk flows more like it would from the breast.
Fisher Price My Little Lamb Swing
Now that Harper has better head control, we’ve been using her swing and she loves it. She is happy in it whether she’s awake or sleeping (sometimes it lulls her to sleep). I also like that it plays music. We only use it on the lowest speed so far. I love that I can put her in there and get things done around the house while she naps.
Pottery Barn Kids Hooded Towels
Not only are these towels absolutely adorable, but they are great for when baby gets out of the bath because you just wrap them like a little burrito and cuddle them as they look like an adorable little baby animal. Precious.
Seventh Generation Bottle & Dish Soap
I was looking for a soap I could wash baby bottles and pumping parts with and I’ve always trusted the Seventh Generation brand because they’re known for having more natural products. This dish/bottle soap is awesome, rinses clean and feels gentle/doesn’t have a heavy scent.
Skip Hop Activity Gym/Mat
Harper is getting better with her tummy time and we use this play mat s few times a day. I love that it comes with a mini half-moon pillow to help prop baby and the colors are fun and vibrant. I think this mat will be great as she’s older too as there are so many textures and “touch and feel” items.
Lansinoh Disposable Nursing Pads
Sometimes I have a random letdown before I’m due to pump again so these nursing pads have been a savior for my clothing. I mean really, I’m just wearing v-neck tees around the house all day, but it’s one less thing to worry about and it helps keep the nipple area dry which is important. I also plan to use these when I return to work.
Little Tummy’s Gas Relief Drops
Poor Harper has been having some gas issues. It’s the only thing that really makes her scream and it breaks.my.heart. I started to use these gas drops and they seem to help clam her tummy a bit.
Changing Pad Liners
Absolutely essential so you don’t have to constantly wash you changing pad cover. I go through so many of these, baby diapers are…complex. Haha.
Lamaze’s Jacques the Peacock
This was recommended by Jessica in her monthly favorites and Harper loves it. The back side has black and white patterns and she likes to look at it. She also recently started swatting at it.
The Little Tummy gas drops were a frequent friend of ours! We found out our little one had a milk protein intolerance which was causing all the gas pains. Hope you don't need the drops too much longer!

I love seventh generation soap for washing bottles. It is the only one I feel is safe to use. great list!
Two months already! Oh gosh, my little guy just turned a week old and I feel like it's been so much longer. I wish we could freeze this time. We love the Dr. Brown's bottles! I hope to use our snugabunny soon but Lucas doesn't have a strong head control yet. Harper is so adorably cute!
I'm loving this series on your blog. I'm pulling together my registry list so finding it really, really useful!
Bamboobies are great washable nursing pads. They are super soft and I think they feel so much nicer than the disposable ones. Plus there's less waste. =)
How are you at 2 months already?! Time is flying, great picks for the month… I remember loving a lot of these items. They didn't make the A+A bibs like this when A was little, just the combo burpcloth/bib, I might have to get some of these for K since I'm obsessed with any product A+A has…
so helpful! thanks for sharing! I'm due with my first baby in November, so I will take any tips and advice that I can get about baby products!

Sassy Links – to attach Jacques (my almost 4mo loves him still) to the carseat or stroller when out and about. I'd also get Freddie, Mortimer, Stretch, the musical inchworm for variety too.
Baby Einstein DVDs. – I'm not a big tv person but I noticed that when there is music on TV, my LO watches and quite enjoys it. The DVD just gives her something fun to look at!
Also, a large size A+A blanket for floor play time.
We have a Bumbo that I use sparingly but LO loves it. (She's trying to sit up in her swing and bouncer) I put her in it while I wash my other two children in the tub because the bouncer is way too big for our bathroom. She just loves being in that big girl position and part of the action.
Love this list! Definitely is a refresher for me. I am also a fan of A&A products. Most of mine are still in almost like new condition, crazy how they hold up so well and just get softer with each wash. What kind of baby wipes do you use? I was always out and about so I carried a baby hat and sunscreen.

I use pampers sensitive and seventh generation baby wipes 🙂 I haven't gotten sunscreen yet because I thought they can't use it until 6 plus months? I do have a sun hat I just got for her 🙂
Thanks, I will need to try the seventh generation wipes! And you are so right, it was around 5/6 months I started using it. If I went to the beach, I went in the evening or early morning and put lightweight clothing on her.
Wow! Can't believe it's been two months already!
They can't wear sunscreen until 6 months. 🙂
Great list, we have/had many of those items, and I will be definitely be trying out those A + A bibs with #2.
The Bumbo is great, my daughter liked it because she could see everything sitting up like that. There is also a tray for it so you can put toys on it, etc if you want.
I think around 4 months we started using a Jumperoo and Exersaucer… she looooooooved the Jumperoo especially. I put an A +A blanket in the seat in the beginning to make it smaller, FYI.
Love these posts, Harper is a doll!
Sophie the giraffe! My son loved to play with it and it also helped as a teether too!
Sohpie the giraffe, fun to play with and great for teething!
My little guy also loved Jacques the Peacock…and Sofie the Giraffe, of course. 🙂
The Grass Skirt
Loving your lists! Every fave posts I go do research & end up adding to my registry. Thanks for the help:)
My son was an early teether, I wear a chew bead necklace when we're out and he loves it. It keeps him from chewing my hair when I carry him.
I also have a bambino cart cover that is a lifesaver floor grocery store/target trips.
She is beautiful, congrats!
