A lot of my readers have requested that I share a spring/summer wish list and though I’ll be rocking yoga pants and tanks most days during my leave once the baby comes, there are a few items I’ve been craving and I even made a few purchases over the weekend.
Now that I’m in my ninth month of pregnancy, I’m finally at the point where I feel like I can buy clothing again. I tried on a few tops at J.Crew last weekend in my pre-pregnancy size and other than them not looking right because of my much larger bump, they still fit everywhere else so I think it’s safe to stick with my regular size at this point.
The first item I purchased was a “love at first sight” top from J.Crew. I checked out the new store in Highland Village and there it was, in the window, the last one left in the store. It was a beautiful bright green/emerald color with really pretty flowers on it and I didn’t have anything like it in my closet. Fortunately, J.Crew is having a sale for 25% off plus free shipping (code is SPRINGBEST) so I took the plunge and ordered it. It probably won’t fit me right now (and I don’t want to stretch it out) but it will be perfect post-baby. I love the short sleeves and the back of the shirt is super-cute too.
Awesome list!! Totally agree with some of those JCrew items, they definitely have a great spring line. Did you stay true to size in those Tory Burch flats? I'm asking because I ordered those exact ones today from Nordstrom.com and ordered my normal size (and the size I wear in other TB flats). I'm hoping the elastic around the heel won't make them fit differently.

@lauren- I actually ordered them in a 10.5. My Revas are a 10 and I wish I would have gotten a 10.5 because they would have been easier to break in.

I love Hive and Honey! You should buy their French Terry Drawstring dress… it is so incredibly comfortable for around the house. It's my favorite lounge outfit/errand dress. I haven't seen that maxi dress of theirs, that might go on my wishlist, along with Jcrew's punk floral top. Perfect picks
Those flats look much more comfortable than my Revas, without the elastic in the back ankle.

I did the same thing-felt the urge to start shopping for myself around the 35-36 week mark! Had my baby girl 13 days ago at 37 weeks 1 day and am so pleasantly surprised to see my body and mainly stomach shrink back! So I am glad I stuck to ordering my pre-pregnancy size:) I am sure you will bounce back quickly too!

We seem to have the same taste. I actually picked up some of the same items to add to my wardrobe for summer, like that J.Crew striped popover, linen tee (I actually got the umbrella one), etc. I couldn't resist the 25% off either.

Ohhh..I haven't really been looking at clothes for spring yet but now I think I need those TB flats and that maxi dress. Love that the emblem of the flats don't look like they'd cut into the foot like I've read in reviews of the Revas.
