Oh linen. So perfect for the summer, yet so wrinkle-prone. What’s a girl to do? Wear it anyway, I suppose. Does casual Friday mean “linen wrinkles permitted?” Probably not, but a girl can wish, no?
For all of you Lulu fans—this post is for you 🙂 and please read the end of this post, because I think the story will move and inspire you.
- 1 pair of brand new pajamas (for hot weather or cool weather) for a school-aged girl or boy (size 5-12)
- 1 new kids toothbrush (most kids don’t get to go to the dentist in Morocco)
- 1 new tube of kids toothpaste
And take it to the post office and mail it to:

After my Grandma gets these packages, she will give them to my Uncle Omar. He is a teacher in a poor school in the countryside. If he gets lots and lots of pajamas, he will give them to other schools with kids who need things. If you want to add some school supplies in the package for the kids, that would be nice, too. But I really want lots of kids to get new pajamas this summer.
Please help my birthday wish come true!
Dear readers— if you were as touched as I was by Eden’s project, and if you can, please consider sending a pair of pyjamas to a child in Morocco and help make Eden’s wish come true. I am planning on sending a pair or two myself.
Thank you so much for reading!
Oh Lulu, what a cutie!
And speaking of cuties, Eden is adorable and it is so sweet what she is doing! I am definitely going to be sending some to Morroco!
For anyone who is thinking of doing this, every year when I do a sub-for-Santa project, I buy the children's pajama sets (top, bottom and socks) from Target- they are only $7, can't go wrong!!!
Go Eden!!
Thank you for sharing this opportunity to help out some children! I will most certainly be sending some. Is it ok to share this story on my facebook page so that I can spread the words to my friends??
love the dress 🙂

That dress is such a great classic piece- wrinkles or not. I love the tiers.
What a huge heart that little girl has, this is so inspirational.
First of all, I loved reading Eden's story. That is just amazing that at five years old she wants to help other children. I'm going to see what I can do to send a pair and maybe make post to share her story to my readers (I don't have many, but they do and maybe they would be inspired to share it too).
Also, I just had my first experience with linen this weekend with a recent J. Crew top. I absolutely love it and will continue to wear it but I was horribly mistaken when I thought I could wear it yesterday which involved a lot of "lounging" around the house. Bad mistake! I do love that dress though!

This is Eden's Mom, Joèl. Yes! Please share the story wherever you can. Thank you so much for your interest.
The same to the rest of you. A million thanks! It means a lot to my girl and we are so excited to get some little 'luxuries' in the hands of little Moroccans.
