Last week, I filmed an eye makeup tutorial (watch it here!) and it was requested that I show how I apply my bronzer and blush as well.
I hope you all enjoy this video (I also included a couple of purchases for anyone interested!)
xoxo,
Veronika.
I think if you tap the brush with your index finger it will eliminate the whole blowing thing.. it really is not good to blow on anything .. germs etc on your face but I do apply my bronzer like you lol I LOVE the new sigma kabuki brushes and use those on my clients to buff in the product
Super simple, but V, these videos are super helpful! Always interested in other techniques. Keep the videos coming 🙂 xo, tasha
The Mac 134 brush is amazing in the Laguna Bronzer. It is the perfect shape for the pan and it is a huge brush.
I absolutely love your videos. I think your makeup is perfect and subtle for everyday…super feminine and nothing over the top, which is what I love. You're so well-spoken, and I really enjoy watching your tutorials. I think you're my new favorite on YouTube!
On a sidenote, do you think the Nars Laguna bronzer is too dark for fair skin? I have very fair skin with pink undertones and have a tough time finding a bronzer that doesn't look orange or make my face look dirty.
thanks so much for your comment emily! I use the NARS laguna year-round, even when I am my palest and I love it—just be sure to use a light dusting and blend on fair skin and I think it would work great!
Thank you, Veronika! I'm excited to try it now. I'm going to try and go check it out at Sephora next week…I have that 20% off coupon that starts on the 10th!
I totally went out and bought the Maybelline eye brightener because of your recommendation! Thank you! It helps a lot with the dark circles under my eyes.

Veronika, this is an unrelated comment, but I have been reading your lovely blog for awhile, and I just wanted to let you know that your wedding hairstyle was the inspiration for my own wedding hairstyle–it was exactly, what I wanted but could not find the right photo until I saw yours–I actually printed it out and brought it to my wedding hairstylist. Thank you!
You should do a tutorial to recreate your wedding look!
Loving your makeup tutorials…so helpful and easy to follow! And I always appreciate learning something new to add into my regular routine!
Hey.. ur video is cool.. loved and learnt the tricks and tips of it.. thanks a ton…
XOXO
Kay

As a fellow fair skinned lady who LOVES NARS Laguna bronzer I find that the kabuki brush applies too much. A kabuki brush is great for applying liquid or powder foundation, when you need compact bristle for more application of said product. I've been using my MAC #134 brush (just a big fluffy powder brush) and it really gives a more natural application of bronzer on fair skin. Lately I've been dusting Laura Mercier's Secret Powder all over my face, using the same brush, as a finishing product and WOW what a difference.
Love your blog!! Do you ever use false eyelashes? If so, what kind? I've tried to wear them a few times, but always fail. Suggestions, anyone?
megan—I think I am going to get that brush, thank you!
andrea—I do not wear flase lashes but I do use latisse (i did one cycle. not currently using it)
Veronika, question about your nail color. What is the difference between this color and the Butter Longon's Teddy Girl? I'm in the market for a pink that shade. Does one stay on better? Thanks!
Veronika, question about the pink nail polish you had on. What is the difference between that and the Butter London's Teddy Girl you showed last month? I'm in the market for that hade of pink. Does one stay on longer?
butter london's is a little more of a true baby pink and essie's french affair has a very very very slight tinge of almost like a lilac to it…hard to explain. The BL is very hard to apply, but it does look good once you do 3 coats and a top coat.
I apply my bronzer pretty much the same way – except I use a small blush brush (forget the MAC one). I've also used my contouring brush before (the MAC 168 which is the same as your sigma one) and I like it that way too, so I think I might get another one just for that. Peony is my HG blush, too!
really like the makeup tips, veronika! I love bobbi brown blushes as well. I was thinking though, it might be better to tap off the excess off ur brushes vs. blowing on them. I think i read somewhere that it can get bacteria on them. thought i'd pass this along 🙂
ur pics from the taylor swift concert are amazing! i can't believe u were so close!!
I LOVE these video tutorials and YES they really are helpful! I only started wearing blush a few weeks ago (it seems it used to break out my skin, but no problems recently:) so your post is particularly on-time for me. I do think my face/makeup looks much better with blush!
