Hope everyone is having a great Sunday! I just wanted to do a quick post to share the link to a new video I made about my daily makeup routine. It is a step-by-step instructional video of exactly which products I use and in which order I use them.
Thanks to my readers who requested this! I love getting video ideas ๐
Questions or comments? Leave them below! Thanks for watching ๐
xoxo,
Veronika.
love your videos! please do a what's in my purse video too ๐
I definitely will ๐
Great video–I love your makeup routine. Really natural and pretty. I am definitely going to buy that lipgloss, it is such a perfect shade of pink!
How often and with what do you use to clean your brushes?
@anon—every other week I use MAC brush cleaner and then every 3-4 weeks I wash them with actual soap and let them dry overnight.
I love your videos, you're great on camera. I actually use a lot of the same products that you do too. ๐
๐
Love the video, you look gorgeous and flawless as always…
I was so excited when I saw on twitter that you posted a new video. I'd like to see a makeup collection video!
For the liner at the lower lid you only use shadow or pencil inside?
Yay! Great vlog! Would love to see you apply…to watch the actual technique! ๐
Def want to try the Maybelline Unstant Rewind product you mentioned! ๐ You are so pretty via video!!! ๐
@anon—I only use shadow on my lower lid and then I line my waterline with Urban decay 24/7 pencil liner…I forgot that step in the video! My apologies!
Oops I forgot to ask you for the concealer is this the Number/shade you use? MAC Studio Finish Concealer spf 35 NC30 ?
(I have a pale face underneath all my bronzer/foundation since I gave up tanning beds a year ago! )
Wow, I can't believe you can talk for 15 mins non-stop so naturally. I'm awful on camera….which is probably why I do many takes and spend lots of time editing, haha.
Great video and thank you for sharing your faves! Can you give us a written cheatsheet? Hard to catch all the names and colors! Thanks!!!

I have had an issue with one of my sigma brushes too after having it for only a year, I went to their website and found an email address and told them the brush was falling apart and within 3 days I had a new brush. Their customer service was amazing. I would try that to see if you could get a new brush!
@anon–thanks for the tip, I will email them tomorrow!
Really liked the video. I have the same make-up philosophy as you – enhancing natural features rather than looking made-up – so I loved seeing what products you use. I already use the MAC concealer and Benefit eyebright, but now I want to try the maybelline concealer you mentioned…just what I need for the early morning school run! Please keep making videos – I love them, you're a natural!
thanks ella ๐ you will love the maybelline brightener. It makes such a huge difference for me!
Great vid! What nail polish color are you wearing?
-Julie
I just realized that after a year and a half of reading your blog, i now have the exact same makeup as you! You get it right, girl!!
Question- Sometimes i'm really bad about washing my brushes. Like go 2-3 months without washing/cleaning them. how bad is it to leave my brushes not washed?
Anon The nail polish is OPI step right up
Anon I would say it's not good to go that long because they collect bacteria and can cause breakouts
You ARE fantastic on camera!
When you line your lashes, on top – where does the line start and end? And same question for when you line the bottom -thanks ๐
I love your blog and love the videos now too. My question is how long would does it take you to apply your makeup in the morning?
Veronika you have such a beautiful speaking voice! It is always so interesting hearing bloggers speak since they have their own voice in your head ๐
Loved this video and I will definitely be running out to check out the concealer and brightener you mentioned. Do you find the Maybelline product better than Touche Eclat? I remember you mentioned this on your blog once but I don't recall where you came out on it.
I love your videos, keep them coming ๐ Youยดre so pretty in pictures but beyond beautiful on camera.
Thanks for sharing!

It would have been great to see you actually apply the products rather than just talk about them.
@lbenoit–it is my goal to learn to do tutorials but I just don't have the set-up for it now because I would a camera remote to zoom in and out for the shots. I don't edit my videos because I don't know how to yet, so I have to take everything in one shot which means I can't stop to zoom in or out.
Thanks so much for the video! I was way too excited to log in today and see TWO videos and an outfit post! So glad to have you back!
aww thanks elizabeth :)I am thrilled to be back!
Thank you for doing this. You have the best recommendations on products – tried and true!! I am going to have to try the bronzer… didn't get a lot of sun this summer and I'm already so pasty. ๐
Meggy from Chasing Davies
Oh, another q for you. Maybe you have already done this, but how do you organize all your make up? With the baby coming, I'm getting ready to lose all my free reign on space in the hall 2nd bathroom. I need new organizing ideas.
Meggy from Chasing Davies
@meggy—I am going to do an entire video on it ๐
Hi Veronika – love your blog! Question about your beautiful hair in the vlog…is that achieved by using velcro rollers like your how-to post or did you use a curling iron?
Thanks!!
I absolutely loved this "vlog". I went out and got the under eye brightener the first time you blogged about it and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. And this is just the kick I needed to get out and try MAC Studio Fix powder foundation. Great post, as always! ๐
I love the Chambray shirt from Old Navy, but I am unsure what to wear it with. How do you plan on wearing it?
I love love love these videos. You are so beautiful and even though you look amazing in pictures, they don't do you justice! As a fellow long haired girl, i'd like to request a hair tutorial of some kind. Thanks!
@kasey—thank you ๐ I want to film a hair tutorial this weekend!
Nicole L- you can wear it with anything just like you can wear jeans with everything. I plan to pair it with pencil skirts of all colors and even with denim it's a cool look ๐
Hi I love your videos, can you tell why you like MAC studio foundation I don't own any MAC cosmetic because I see so many women that useit looks like they wear a mask and for you looks GREAT, natural and I want to try it so bad.
Thanks
Great video, I enjoyed seeing what products you use & like. I'd also like to see an application tutorial(s) but understand that is a more complicated undertaking.
Have you ever tried the Laura Mercier camouflage concealer? I often see raves for it in magazines. I'd be interested in your thoughts on it if you've given it a try.
shaw—i have not tried that product but i have used LM secret brightener powder which I like ๐
Love it! How lOng does this routine take you? Thanks!!!
l would say it takes me about 10-12 minutes. Sometimes I spend a little more time on it…like on weekends I really take my time but during the week I like to get it done pretty quickly.
I just stumbled upon your post. That was a wonderful video. Very clear and instructive. I love your routine makeup; it's perfect for normal wear. It brightens up the face but doesn't give a heavily made up look. Thanks for the post!
