I’m still trying to blog a few days a week but between everything being so busy at home and at work it hasn’t left me much time to post as often. I promise in September things will get back to normal.
I had wanted to film another video this weekend, but we were so busy that I didn’t get a chance to. My mother in law is also going to give me their tripod so I can film videos in a location that has better lighting, so yay for that!
I’ll leave you tonight with a funny photo. My H and I were cleaning out our storage closet this weekend and I decided that cleaning in my veil would be fun. So I threw it on for a few minutes and pranced around as happy as can be.
I also wanted to mention my latest GalTime article, since it’s all about where I like to shop for home decor. Check it out, here!
I’m taking off now to take a much-needed shower and paint my nails (I usually paint them on Sunday evening).
Oh and another sad update, my Hana hairdryer broke and I sadly had to order a new hairdryer ๐ I was pretty upset about it because I really loved it and it was life-changing for me. I ordered an Elchim. They are made in Italy and my old hairdresser who actually now lives in Italy has been using them forever. I’ll report back on whether or not it’s good. I still like and recommend the Hana dryer…I think mine was just a lemon.
xoxo,
Veronika.
The elchim is amazing. Worth every penny.
Adorable photo, V. I'm sure I will do the same after I get married…not that I know when that's happening! But why not let your dress and veil out to play?! It shouldn't be so hidden!
The dress is sooo beautiful! I think you should hang it on a pretty hanger in your room! (Keep sure to think it clean though) : ) xxx

I have an Elchim too – it's the best!!
Great blog. Have i nice day !!

Your dress is gorgeous indeed ๐
Hope the hair dryer lives up to your expectation ๐ it's always hard to try out new beauty products sometimes!
dude- that sucks that it broke. When you did the review I looked it up and remember it being super expensive. What a bummer.
@anon, yeah it does suck ๐ I think it is probably just a lemon. I have not heard of anyone else's breaking like mine did.
Haha your funny! Did you opt not to have your dress cleaned and preserved in a box? I'm just asking because I still haven't had my dress cleaned and preserved (mainly because of the cost) but I keep telling myself to go do it because I don't want the dress to mold or yellow. I'd be curious to know what you think. ๐ Thanks!
@ashley—i'd like to get it cleaned and preserved but I'd like to have it framed in a shadow box and use it as art for my closet!
I hadn't done it yet because I wanted to do trash the dress photos, but that time is long gone!
Beautiful dress! It must have been so tempting to put it back on! Mine has been preserved, so I can't really take it out to look at anymore:(
I was going to say you should put the dress in a shadowbox and hang it somewhere you can see if everyday. Great idea!

Yay! New blog post & cute picture! I know how hard it is balancing a blog, work & married life!!.. You're dress is gorgeous~~ Ive been debating if I should keep mine or sell it.. Dilemmas dilemmas.. Excited for your future videos ๐
That's awful about the hair dryer ๐ Mine always seem to break when I need it the most and it just stops..so bad!!! lol.. I'm interested to know what you think about the new one. Looking forward to that review ๐ xoxo
Loveeeee your blog – your blog is so relevant and I love that you have an objective on how often you want to blog per week.
I have been an avid reader for about a year now and you inspired me to create my own blog!
I love reading your updates and seeing pics! You are gorgeous! Keep it up!
ps. do you have a reco on a good hair straightener. I currently have a GS but mine has just about seen its last day! Thanks ๐

Ahahahaha! I also try random things on (make-up! old dresses! shoes!) whenever I'm cleaning…haven't fished out my wedding dress or veil yet, though. YOU'VE GIVEN ME AN IDEA!
Bummer about the hairdryer, I hate it when any of my hair appliances break! Can't wait to see a future review on the Elchim!
I had never heard of Hana until a rep emailed me last week to send a flat-iron my way for review. Is it a good brand?
your looking great, nice dress btw. I wish my hair was as good as yours. My cloud 9 straighteners died after 3 years so i had to go to work looking a bit of a mess, lol.
Maybe that's why I can never get around to cleaning my house. I need to wear my veil while I clean. Either that or a super hero cape because trying to clean up after my husband and toddler takes super hero powers.
Di—your comment made me LOL! ๐
