I’ve been noticing that some of my skirts feel loose on me lately….and I haven’t really lost weight (at least I don’t think so) but they seem to just not be as fitted as they used to be. While I’m happy my fitness is paying off and my body is getting more toned, I don’t want to have to buy new skirts! Maybe I can safety pin or clip them so they are a bit tighter at the waist.
I wore this outfit on Monday (I’ve been writing posts in advance which is why I’m a little behind on my days)
Top- Target
Skirt- LOFT
Cardigan- Zara
Shoes- Nine West
Necklace- F21
Watch: Michael Kors; Bracelet: Pandora

I really love the outfit..especially the shoes!!! I will have to make a trip to nine west 🙂
Measure yourself. You may not have lost weight, but you probably got smaller. Working out will do that for you. It happened to me, and I had to have my skirts and pants taken in about 1 inch.
Cute outfit! I'm really loving the shoes and the necklace. Adorable.
Celebrate!! all your hard work has been paying off and you look amazing 🙂 If you don't think you'll be shrinking a whole lot more why don't you get your favourite pieces taken in by a tailor?

Isn't it just the way! You workout and see great results and then find you have to buy a new wardrobe! LOL! Good advice to consider having your skirts and pants taken in! Regardless, this outfit looks great on you!
Love the shoes.
Hi, saw your comment on my page about our dresses. Yes it seems we did have the same dress! I love Priscilla of Boston! Hope you are having a great week 🙂
I really like this Target top – imma look for it next time i go!! 😉
Hi Veronika! I love your blog. I just wanted to tell you I just picked up Maria Menounos' book today, and I think you would love it! When I was flipping through it, she really reminded me of you!
I love that top – I checked them out at Target yesterday, but didn't have enough time to try them on, will be going back though!

Veronika, Congrats on your fitness accomplishments! I would just get the pieces you really love professionally altered. Its worth it, because they will look much better. It shouldn't be too expensive to have some basic alterations made either. When I lost weight I went through my closet and made sure I really liked the piece before I invested in alterations.
thanks chandra, that is a really great suggestion 🙂
