Last Thursday, I attended the Simon Fashion Now spring/summer fashion show at the Houston Galleria Mall. They have two fashion shows a year on the rink, but unlike the industry shows that preview styles that are unavailable for several months, the show features clothing and accessories that are available at retailers throughout the mall (which is a great thing—for my love of shopping, not necessarily my wallet!)
The show is presented by Cadillac and this year featured a wide variety of looks—from the brights at Kate Spade to the lively patterns at Missoni. The show featured looks from Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bally, Billy Reid, CH Carolina Herrera, Ferragamo, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade, M Missoni, MaxMara and Wolford Boutique.
Here are some of my favorite looks from the show:
What do you ladies think of these spring/summer runway looks? Going to the show always makes me even more excited for summer fashions. And of course, I didn’t go alone. Candice, Juddeth and I all met up at the show: (and yeah, my head looks huge because I was so close to the camera, ah well!)
Hope everyone’s week is off to a great start!!!

Veronika.

Wow. The last dress is from Roberto Cavalli colection. It's really gorgeous!
Lucky you!
Wow that were some great styles and a lot of Louboutin shoes on the feet 🙂
Have a great week!!

Gorgeous!! And wow, what a stunning picture of you at the end! You have such beautiful skin! <3
I love the Mad Men-esque ones. I also love the maxi dresses. Very cute.
I love the white, pink & yellow Kate Spade look. Very ladylike.
you girls look so pretty! this is so neat that your mall throws fashion shows like this! does Houston have a fashion week too?
@kinsey—yes we have a fashion week here now, but this event is not part of it. It's a fun event because the Thursday night show is not open to the general public and it's catered and it's just overall a very fun time—some stores at the mall have after parties as well—a good time to be had for all 🙂
great pictures!!! makes me wish i was there!!!
Great post! I really loved the flapper style dresses, plus the hair was so retro but modern at the same time. I LOVE big hair, makes the hips look smaller;) Would you mind asking Candice what brand and shade of lipstick she's wearing in that pic? (I hope that's not rude) She's my "faux redhead" inspiration, so few (probably myself included!) do it right as far as the shade and appropriate makeup and she nails it.
