Banana Republic had the entire store at 30% off this weekend and I scored two incredible dresses. I don’t buy the same garment in various colors very often, but this dress was so cute, flattering and work-appropriate that I just had to get it in both colors. They were on sale for $41.99 each plus 30% off. I paid about $60 for both.
My final clothing purchase was this gorgeous long cardigan from Armani Exchange. Initially, I bought a long, oatmeal-colored cardigan at Nordstrom for $69.00 but when I stopped in at Armani Exchange, I liked the one I tried on there so much better and I went and returned the one I had gotten just 15 minutes before at Nordstrom. Yep, I was THAT customer. But a great LONG cardigan is hard to come by. The Armani one was a little more at $88 but is much more interesting than the plain one I had purchased before. IRL it’s a soft, dusty lilac color.
xoxo,
Veronika.
I love that cardi! Also BB pale pink is my second favorite blush, with nectar being my first.
I also took advantage of the 30% off but at the gap and found some great things! I also finally bought Nars Laguna bronzer.
Ooooooo the plum liner sounds pretty!
Nice haul! I picked up Bobbi Brown blush in Nectar last wk based on your love for Peony (Peony I think would be too cool/pink for me… Nectar has a little more coral/peach to it) I love the formula and the product, def a convert 🙂
i love the idea of a plum liner too! sounds very versatile, and fun for spring
I love the Bobbi Brown gel liners! I use my graphite shimmer ink almost every day. I've been eyeing up the plum color for awhile. It's so pretty and flattering on brown eyes.
Cute, cute dress! I could see why you pulled a Wrigley's.
I did! Finally got a fun lululemon hoodie…but that was really it, clothing wise! Otherwise, I didn't bite at anything…glad to hear your black shopping cloud has been lifted!
I also bought some BB this weekend; a shop I like in The Woodlands had an event on Saturday. I went with the Black Mauve liner and Pink Sugar blush along with a couple other things.
Also, this shop had the Oribe haircare line and one of the sales associates freshened up my (day old) hair while I waited for the BB MUA…he put this anti-humidity spray on me that I swear is the Holy Grail of frizz-fighting. I want it so bad, but it's $38/can…
@amy—do you have a link for the Orbie product? My salon uses the line now and this sounds like a product I need! I don't care what the cost—my hair gets crazy in humidity!
another skirt from LOFT. it's navy and khaki tiny stripe with a grograin navy ribbon that ties at the waist. can't wait to pair it with colorful tops and flats.
@Veronika – here you go!

thanks 🙂
V I think you have officially hooked all of your readers onto Bobbi Brown's gel liners and blushes- I have the gel liners in Caviar, Forest Shimmer, Black Mauve Shimmer and the blush in Peony and Pale Pink- I have to try the Black Plum liner now! Cute fashion finds as well! I need to do some shopping 🙂
Hey Veronika! I know you use macs studio fix powder, but check out Chanel vitalumiere aqua for summer. So light, yet wonderful coverage and water based. I read you were interested in trying a liquid one. I am extremely acne prone and Chanel foundations are only ones that dont break me out! You can get a sample first!!! 🙂
