Happy Friday lovely readers! As many of you have seen by now, my new template is up! I am so excited about my blog’s new look! Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment here and on formspring and also to those who emailed me about the new look! You ladies made my day *big smiles!*
I just got back from an awesome Pilates class and had a healthy dinner from Zoe’s Kitchen so I’m feeling great! I love working out on Friday evenings. It gets me even more pumped for the weekend and it’s a nice way to unwind after a long week.
I have a lot of catching up to do this week so I’ll try to make this post a long one. I had the opportunity to meet and have my makeup done by celebrity makeup artist Napoleon Perdis on Thursday! What a fun experience 🙂 Palais Royal in Cinco Ranch was launching their new “Beauty Bar” featuring Napoleon’s new makeup line NP Set, and many others and he made an appearance in the store. Some of the other lines included Crabtree & Evelyn, Juice Organics, Kiss My Face, Burt’s Bees, Emani Minerals and Bremenn.
I interviewed Mr. Perdis about beauty tips and tricks and you can read that article when it’s published on CultureMap. I will be sure to post the link when it’s up! In the meantime, here are some photos from the event:
I must admit it felt really exciting to have my makeup done by someone who’s done makeup for Hilary Duff, Leighton Meester, Evangeline Lily and many other celebs! You can buy his new line, NP Set at select Palais Royal stores and online on the NP Set website. The products retail from about $12.95 to $32.00. My fave picks were the blush/highlighter duo, the eye liners and the eye shadow trios.
I know I’ve been slacking on OOTD posts lately…but that’s because I never had time to post them individually so I’ll post them here all at once. I was able to do some with the tripod and some days I was in such a rush I just took them in the mirror. Here we go!

Love the new template! I seems very "you" as well as I know you via blogging. LOL. Your make up looks fab, but I think that you do just a good of a job yourself. Not a dramatic difference, but that can be a good thing. NP's application wasn't a departure from your normal look.

I love the new template!!! And fabulous outfits, as always. I love the necklace you're wearing in the last 2 outfits. What's the nail polish that you have on? I can't tell if it's blue or black, but I really like it!

Janice- you're right, the look wasn't a huge departure because he just went over my existing makeup. I forgot to put a shot of my eyes closed up…will do that now 🙂

Your new layout is great! I really like the whole look of it. Love your blog. You always have such great outfits and interesting posts. Have you seen the new O.P.I Swiss collection? There are a few colors that I really like. I got the color William Tell About O.P.I. and I love it. It's like Lincoln Park After Dark, but less purple. I think you would really like it.

I'm very impressed by NP's makeup on you – I've had my makeup done at one of their stores in the past and it was NOT as good as the makeup by the master!

Hey Veronika i had a question about your newest post u mentioned you bought a Neutrogena Spray Tanner. Have you been using it for a while? I wanted to get a good one but scared that they will make me look orange or uneven… How do u like it?
I love it! been using it for a long time! I apply it in the shower so it doesn't get everywhere and then leave it on overnight 🙂 so easy to use and results are great!

chasing davies- i have to be honest- the elastic at the sleeves was a bit uncomfy! it kind of felt a little too snug…but it's a pretty blouse!
