I’ve always thought Jennifer Aniston was so beautiful. In fact, in the 7th grade, I took the plunge (along with hundreds of thousands of other women, I’m sure) and got “The Rachel,” made famous by her hair stylist Chris McMillan.
Jennifer Aniston sticks with the same look because she knows what works for her. She’s changed her hair a few times, but I always notice her hair is very polished and her color is always so well-blended. It looks sun-kissed and natural, even though she has naturally brown hair.
Recently, she did a shoot for the cover of GQ magazine with Gerard Butler. Here is the cover shot:
Hello STUNNING! The hair, the makeup, the pose. I love her! I’m so over the tabloids always talking about her being sad and lonely. She’s a successful woman who seems to know what she wants (an uh, apparently, it’s not John Mayer.)
I read that she was asked to keep her hair dirty after the first day of shooting to get that textured, piecey look.
Her hair seems to range from super blonde to a blonde with warm light brown low lights. I love hair color, cut and style. She always looks good no matter what.
Do you love Jen’s hair as much as I do? I am so glad that she was able to move past “The Rachel” while still having hair that makes a statement and is as desirable as “The Rachel” was more than 10 years ago.
I also think she is super great fitness inspiration. She always looks thin and toned but not scary skinny like some celebs get.
Before I go for today, here is my OOTD. My pictures are so bad, but I did what I could. I had one of those weird mornings today where I just didn’t for the life of me know what to wear. I tried on so many tops and nothing made me happy. So I finally wore my gorgeous Ann Taylor petal top. I absolutely love it.

I love Jen Aniston, she always seems so real. Her body is amazing–a perfect blend of thin but athletic.
I am not 100% in love with that cover look though (I hate saying that because I want to be!), it looks like she has too much self-tanner or make-up on or something, her skin looks a bit dirty to me in that image. And something about her eye-make up does not look like 'her' to me. IDK…but, I do love her! Especially in the black and white Glaceau water ads, she is perfection in those.

I love Jennifer, always have! I had the Rachel and I loved it back then. I love everything about her and her look! So pretty and sexy!

I don’t know about Jennifer Aniston, I just feel like since moving on from The Rachel, her style hasn’t evolved at all. While I love her day-to-day classic style (well-fitting denim and neutrals), I find her evening wear (black, black and more black with her hair always worn down) so boring. I don’t think wearing a bit of colour would compromise her resolutely (even stubbornly) classic style. And I do feel like she’s trying to “cling to her youth” a bit. Don’t get me wrong, her body is amazing and she obviously works very hard for it, but I think her makeup and hair could be updated to suit her current stage in life. And she could stand to ease off the botox, etc. But all this said, I agree that cover shot is gorgeous – I think I like it because it’s a different and more modern than most shots of her!
On another note, Veronika you look GORGEOUS in that Ann Taylor blouse! The colour, the fit, everything. So beautiful!
And one last thing, have you tried taking pictures of yourself for your OOTDs by standing in front of the mirror and pointing the camera lens toward you so you can see the screen reflected in the mirror? I find this the easiest way to take pictures of myself.

Tess- that is how I take them now. I either do it the way you said, or take a picture of myself in the mirror. I do a combo of the two to get different angles of the clothes 🙂 thanks for the tip though 🙂
I agree that Jen's style hasn't really evolved, but I think she always looks good, and I'd rather look consistently good than have ups and downs. 🙂

we are in the higher 70's, I believe. I think it's time for me to ditch tights but I'm so used to them that bare legs feel…odd!

Kristina- have you seen "the good girl"? I felt that was a different role for her but i totally see what you mean. I think a lot of people see her as boring…but I'm just glad she's not all over the tabloids for partying and stuff.

I love Jen! Of course, she is probably the top request of clients for color. She is gorgeous! Honestly, her body is amazing.
ugh this post upsets me just because Ive recently gotten my highlights done and I feel like I cannot get a stylist that knows how to achieve her look which I use to have a similar color to the 3rd one down. I will have to print photos and show them next time.

Jennifer- what I did to get super blended highlights was that I grew out my natural hair color for about 6 months, and then my stylist blended in highs and lows with my natural color…it grows out nicely and blends better.

I had the Rachel in jr high too, I thought I was so cute. I love her, she is a classic beauty. Oh and your blouse is beautiful! I am wearing a sleeveless top today (in Austin) and I couldn't love the weather more!
